We were out shopping and decided to get a late lunch at McAlister's Deli. I ordered a Club Sandwich with Potato Salad and Ice Tea. The Tea was great and the Potato Salad was very good. However, the sandwich was a disappointment. It was dry...and the contents failed to cover the bread in it's entirety, For part of the sandwich I just bit into toasted bread and crust. Next time I'll order something else. The kitchen mixed up my order with my daughter's, but otherwise the service was OK.More

I had the Memphian Sandwich which included ham, turkey, roast beef, cheese and lettuce on a hoagie bun. For my side I had potato salad. And, to drink I had an unsweetened ice tea. The meal was outstanding as was the service. We will return.

We stopped here for lunch after a morning appointment. I ordered the McAlister's Club Sandwich, Potato Salad and an Ice Tea. The club sandwich consisted of ham, turkey, bacon, two kinds of cheese, lettuce and tomato surrounded by three slices of toasted, fresh wheat bread....It was garnished with honey mustard and was outstanding. The potato salad was mustard based and tasted great. The accompanying pickle wedge was crisp and fresh. The ice tea was expertly brewed and came in a large cup. McAliter's Deli is one of my favorite places for lunch. We will return.More

I ordered a King Club Sandwich, Potato Salad and a Tea. The club had double the meat of the regular club and was so tall, I had to eat it in sections. The sandwich consisted of ham, turkey, bacon, cheese, lettuce and tomato. It was...outstanding. the service was great and we will return.More

We had never been to a McAlister’s Deli before and found it on our trip from Michigan to Florida. It is in the same class as Jason’s Deli and Panera Bread. You order at the counter from a very large menu and they bring the...food out to you. We tried the California Reuben and Broccoli Cheese soup and both were excellent. The price was also very reasonable and the restaurant very clean. We’ll add McAlister’s Deli to our list of go to places to eat when we are traveling.More

Everyone raves about the sweet tea, but I didn't care for it. Big variety in the menu. Food tastes fresh. Busy but fast staff matters. I find it a bit pricey, but good for a change in pace.

We were out shopping and I took my daughter here for a late lunch. I ordered a Club Sandwich, Fruit Cup and Iced Tea. The sandwich was a triple deck creation cut in quarters with ham, turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo...and honey mustard. It was one of the better club sandwiches I've had in Knoxville, but not one of the best. All the meat was bunched up in the middle of the sandwich, so it looked like here was more meat than there really was. A couple of bites and all that was left in the sandwich quarter was dry bread and crust. The fruit cup contained cool, fresh grapes and chunks of melon and pineapple. It was small, but very good. McAlister's Iced Tea is always good and comes in an over-sized plastic cup. The service was great and we will return.More

Great service. The best tea ever! Great salad called the Savannah salad. Wonderfully fresh and tasty.

I ordered the McAlister's Club, Potato Salad and Ice Tea. The sandwich was a three deck traditional club loaded with Butterball Smoked Turkey, Black Forest Ham, bacon, sharp cheddar, Swiss, lettuce, tomato, mayo and honey mustard. The potato salad contained cubed potatoes, hard boiled eggs,...pickles, mayo and mustard coated on top with paprika. The tea was brewed perfectly. The meal and service were excellent. We will return.More
