2 eggs, country ham, grits, biscuit, and potatoes were fine for around $8. A cup of coffee for $2.75 seemed a bit stiff ,especially since the teeny tiny cups used to serve it made refills a necessity. In any case the food was cooked as ordered and the coffee was good so I don't have any real complaints. The ambiance... More

Had breakfast and dinner, good food. The service was very good. The only thing that bothered me was that the banquette seat had crumbs both times I sat down, rather annoying. Would return though, everything else was good.

Food and staff are excellent. The menu selection is imaginative and not the standard fare. Pricing is very reasonable for the quality of food, service, and atmosphere.

I took my parents for a nice lunch for their 55th anniversary. Everything we got was tasty, fresh, and plentiful. The service was pleasant and not overly formal. At the end, they were surprised by a celebratory dessert from our server. We were pleased with our experience and hope to one day return for dinner.

This is such a diamond in the rough. The prices are phenomenal. Also, the choice of dishes represents a much more expensive restaurant. Check out jazz night on Thursdays. Also, one does not have to be a guest to eat here. SUPER for business meetings.

We only had an opportunity to have breakfast while staying in the Carnegie Hotel but it was very nice. The staff was friendly and just so nice and prompt. The food choices were excellent and everything tasted very good and exactly as ordered. Very accommodating. Recommend.

I have written a separate review describing dinner in the Presidential Suite for our 45th wedding anniversary. We had breakfast in the Wellington Restaurant and have had evening meals there before. It is a nice restaurant with expertly prepared meals. The menu is not very long but covers enough ground to satisfy everyone I think - from New Zealand lamb... More

My friend and I had a lovely dinner here. I was not expecting the food to be excellent but it was. Typically, hotel restaurants are not that impressive. The food and the service were very good. We will definitely come back here again.
