I have been going to the Peerless Restaurant for over 40 years (I promise I'm not that old, just been going since I was a child) but had not been there for several years. My wife and I decided to try it out again to see if anything had changed. Luckily for us, the atmosphere, service and food quality was... More

My first ever visit to this well known and long established restaurant exceeded expectations. My companion & I started the meal off with prime rib sliders. She likes her meat well done, me medium rare. We ordered to her taste and I expected the worst. Boy was I wrong! Sliders were amazing! Next came main course, a NY Strip that... More

It is hard to find a restaurant these days with an wonderful atmosphere like Peerless without being so expensive that it is impossible to afford. The food is always well prepared. My friend and I eat there when we want a nice, quiet, delicious meal. I have seen children there but I would not really consider it a "family" restaurant... More

We have only been for special occasions but never disappointed. The steaks are always cooked perfectly and the sides as delicious. The atmosphere is that of a fine restaurant. The service and staff are always at their best giving impeccable service.

I love being in a nice quiet restaurant with a traditional menu, good lighting, and mixed drinks! A good variety on the menu and great service makes it a good place for a special evening.

You must forgive me if I love the Peerless, but I think it is THE BEST there is. I first went there it's a kid with my parents n the early 1950s when Jim Kalogeros' steak house was still on Market Street. In the 1970s I took my future wife to their newer North Roan location on a date. You... More

Went there for wife's birthday. It is about 4 the visit since Jan 2015. With each visit service and food quality declined as prices of menus climb. They are always under staffed especially so on this visit. Our waiter did his best but had too many tables. He did not know the menu and admitted there was much he had... More

The best prime rib ever put in my mouth! Their oysters are juicy and not heavily breaded. The house salad with peas and Grecian dressing is one that I crave! My little girl was entranced when an older couple stood up and danced! Very wonderful place.
