I have eaten here on many occasions, with friends and family. The food is consistently delicious, and I like that you can choose how spicy you want your food to be ( I prefer thai spicy myself). That being said, the service can be hit or miss. Service seems to be improving, it has been a long time since I've... More

Tomy Thai offers good versions of traditional Thai favorites in a pleasant setting with good service. The portions are large and flavorful. Expect good preparations of Thai standards without any of the more complex dishes such as crispy fried whole flounder or more exotic preparations.

I ordered the chicken basil thai chicken with noodles. It was very rich with flavors and has the thai authenic taste. It was impressive to see a full house there. A great chef was putting out entrees fast with great smells sizzling from the plate.I would recommend the thai ice tea with the entrée it goes hand in hand and... More

12/01/2016 I stopped in for a late lunch about 1:45 pm and the girl at the door displayed utter contempt for me in her voice, body language and mannerisms. I realize this is a college restaurant being across the street from ETSU but a customer is a customer no matter what their age. Evidently she felt the mid 50's man... More

We discovered this restaurant when we were attending the Storytelling Festival in Jonesborough TN and we are so happy we did. The food is reasonably priced and very well prepared. The menu includes several vegetarian choices as well as choices for the carnivore.

Food was average but had large portions. Enough for 2 to share. Short staffed during busy lunch. Drink refills were not given.

My husband and I went this past Thursday around 7pm. We were seated and waited and waited and waited. We were never even acknowledged....no "I'll be with you shortly".....nothing! We got up and walked out and no one....not even the manager on duty said anything to us. We called back and spoke to that manager and she apologized and said... More

Used to visit all the time when they were in Kingsport. Now, no so much since location is in Johnson City. Got carry out Drunken Noodles today. No problem, great portion, but not near enough chicken. This is second visit to JC location and it seems that Kingsport location was more upscale and better prepared.

My husband and I were wanting to try somewhere new and ran across this place. It was excellent. We had the golden bags for an appetizers and they were really good. I had the sweet basil rice with shrimp which was beyond delicious. Everything seemed so fresh. The waitress was super nice and very helpful. We will definitely be back... More

Love Tomy Thai. I could eat their Drunken Noodles with Shrimp every day. A very large portion so that I always have enough for dinner after I have had lunch there.
