This is our second time here. The food is great and the staff is very friendly. This a great place to stop in and several varieties of BBQ.

The BBQ sandwich with brisket is delicious. Enjoyed my lunch with Grace as my server. Fun atmosphere- got to watch some of the Olympics.

The best brisket EVER! I appreciate that they pay attention to their sides unlike some places that just go cheap here. Good atmosphere and great food, what else do you need?

This place is so yummy. I love the pulled turkey. The slaw was amazing also. The staff were so friendly. Please give this place a try.

Now the cowboy beans were "original" and very good but I didn't go for a side... More

We have been several times with friends. Want to try the Ribs but we are always eating too late and they have sold out. Have heard they are great. The pulled pork is always great. They have a good beer selection as well.

Unpretentious sports bar atmosphere, good traditional smoked very tender E. TN pork barbecue, nothing fancy here, just the basics, neighborhood spot, locals eat here, reasonable prices.

reasonable price, not too long a wait, decent menu, large portions! nice sporty atmosphere ( especially if you are a college sports fan). my favorite is the smoked bbq brisket stuffed spud - more than i can finish in one sitting. they also have great wings, bbq chicken, etc. my friend loves the ribs. been several times, never disappointed!

Their lunch menu is an extremely good value, especially since their BBQ is so good. We have even used them to caterer some lunch functions at work. The BBQ baked potato sounds weird but is awesome!

Upper East Tennessee has some excellent barbecue: Firehouse Restaurant, Ridgewood, Pardners, Phil's Dream Pit, etc. But Hokie Smokie has become my favorite of all of these. Their pulled pork sandwiches are generously loaded, and the texture and flavor are unmatched. They also provide sweet potato fries upon request, instead of regular fries, and these are also excellent. A group of... More
