This lil café doesn't open until 5 p.m. BUT the line starts forming at 4:30-4:45. A friend recommended us to this place that lives there in Jackson because we had an event to attend at the Civic Center across the way that started at 6p.m. My new found friend Angie called ahead for us to a waitress..Jenny and gave her... Food is fresh and better than the common chain dinners. It's small and needs a fresh coat of paint. The bathroom is very dated, but usable. Love that set at bar, so you can watch your food cook.

This little establishment has been in Jackson, TN for many, many years. It use to be located around the corner (from the location now) on the north side of the old Trailways bus station. The food is well worth the price, and the atmosphere within the Dixie Castle is always inviting. Worth the time, and money to eat here. Enjoy!

Historic old restaurant in downtown Jackson has served locals for many decades and still has a great rep! All food is very good, but breakfasts and steaks are the best. I had steak cooked medium rare and not only was it perfectly cooked - it was deliciously seasoned. Always full of repeat, local patrons and very popular!

Smelled of kitchen grease. Floors felt sticky and slick. The burger was fine but the smell of hot grease that was all prevailing made it hard to stay there.

Dixie Castle has been around for over 30 years. It is reminiscent of the days when you could sit (and you can) at a lunch counter and grab a quick lunch cooked on the grill in front of you. The menu is simple meat and potatoes. It is filling, affordable and fast. It's a great place to people watch.

Only went there once waited 20 minutes as the staff definatly catered to working men. What about women? We need to eat quick too. Then got attitude. Don't know if I will ever go back. Maybe not during lunch, for a second try. Better places close by .
