My wife and I stumbled upon BB’s Bistro while touring the countryside. Her grilled cheese was outstanding, and my chicken and dumplings was terrific. Delicious broccoli and corn and mashed potatoes with gravy on the side. I highly recommend BB’s. Everything is homemade and delicious!

We chose this place from other recommendations on Trip Advisor. Unless you're checking TA, I don't think you would ever know about the Cornerstone Cafe; I don't remember seeing any signs on I-40, between Carthage TN and Lebanon TN. Turn south from I-40 and go...less than a mile to a 4-way stop at Rt. 53. The Cafe is on the Southwest corner of that intersection. They have a varied menu, but we opted for the 16" House pizza with literally EVERYTHING on it. At $21, a good deal, particularly compared to Nashville prices ! Big enough to eat well and take home for another meal. The dough is admittedly not homemade, but the thin crust pizza was very tasty and fresh. When we get back that way again, we fully intend to try other things; if the pizza is any indication, it will be a very good meal. Save room for dessert ! Homemade chocolate fudge pie and coconut cream pie; other desserts on various days. The chocolate pie was to die for, but not sickeningly sweet. Service in our case was excellent. The waitress kept track of our drink levels and checked on us regularly but was not "suffocating". All in all, a very good visit. If you're passing through I-40 and St. Rt. 264, take an extra 60 seconds from the chain places near the interstate and the truck stop, and go south to the Cornerstone Cafe. Very convenient to the interstate, and very easy to get back on to continue your journey. Well worth the tiny drive ! Good food and friendly folks. Can't ask for more than that.More

Cornerstone cafe is my go to place when I am craving pizza on a cold wintry day. They have a variety of dishes but the pizza is the best. It is a thin crust with an abundance of toppings.

Happened upon this friendly and reasonably priced country diner on our way home from Nashville. What a delight to find a fresh salad bar, friendly waitstaff and a cook who came out to see how I wanted my grilled catfish prepared. The yummy jack cheese...and pico topping made it delightful and my husband's fried catfish with hand dipped cornmeal batter was delicious, as well. His 2 sides, fried okra and yellow squash, were such generous servings that neither one of us could finish! If you are looking for a good homecooked meal & great service & don't mind dated decor, Cornerstone Cafe is for you.More

Great food! Usually call in to-go orders and every thing we've tried is always so yummy. House pizza is one of our faves for pizza nights, as well as the veggie. My son always has to have his order of corn nuggets as well. Cornerstone...is definitely a hidden little gem of a place. Keep up the great work!More

This little place doesn't look like much on the outside but is a must try. Friendly service, country cousine, great home town experience. The food was fresh and enjoyable. We also enjoyed some of the cake pops which were absolutely amazing!
