This is a popular lunch spot for me and my colleagues when we're in town on business. They have fast service and good lunch specials. I've enjoyed their enchiladas and tacos. Salsa is also tasty!

A wonderful family restaurant - but very busy. We had to wait for about 30 minutes on late Saturday afternoon - which isn't too bad as long as you don't have a 3 year old under tow. Regardless, the staff tried t sit us as quickly as possible. They were excellent. Once seated our server was extremely busy. (I think... More

We were a party of 8 (4 adults/4 kids) and had a great time! The food is tasty and inexpensive and you get a lot for your money. The restaurant was pretty dead at 5:30pm on a Sunday, but when 6pm rolled around, it got very crowded. The best part was the balloon artist they had for the kids. The... More

Mexicali Grill is good but nothing memorable. Good was warm but not hot and was rather bland and tasteless. Would suggest there are much better places in Franklin.

Stopped in for lunch in early September. Was in just before noon but good crowd already there. Quickly seated, quick service and responsive staff. Food was good, had the chimichanga lunch special. Prices are reasonable, lunch with beverage for just around $10 to $12 depending on order. Food came quickly and was very warm, portion size was good, presentation good.... More

Mexicali Grill is a great Mexican Restaurant in the heart of Cool Springs. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Unbelievable, German size beer (Stein), at a Mexican restaurant. What a surprise when the waiter brought the pair to our table. Of course he asked if we wanted the large size... who says no to that? Mexican beer served German style! Now for the best part... under 5 bucks. The food is average, about what you would get anywhere. Bottom... More

We ate dinner at Mexicali restaurant. Nice activities for the kids, friendly staff. The kids enjoyed seeing a show, hold a pigeon and got balloons. However, if you are going for the food there are many better Mexican restaurants in the area.

Didn't really have high expectations going in. Just wanted something quick. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! As we walked in, we were welcomed with the sound of jazz music, seated immediately, chips were on the table before our coats were off. Server was super nice, fajitas were great and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back!!

Let's start this off correctly, this isn't upscale Mexican, that's not their market. But what is their market is solid food at a solid price. Everyone was very friendly, from the guy that brought the chips the host the server and everything in between. It was exceptionally clean, and very tasty. Isn't that what all matters?
