We booked the entire restaurant for my son's wedding rehersal dinner. My wife discovered this spot so we booked it. I estimate we had about 60 people there, and I would say the size was perfect. The owner and his staff were so nice and took care of everything. They served us meat and chicken along with several vegetables. After... More

I went here last month and I love it! Me and my boyfriend ordered a sandwich to share and it was worth every dime.

My wife and I are both very happy with our lunches at the Mercantile Deli, it was one of the better lunches we had on our 10 day trip to Kentucky and Tennessee. My sandwich was loaded with meat, cheese and veggies. The chili was great!

The mercantile deli is a staple in downtown franklin. It is a bit teeny and can get busy around lunch time but I always try to snag one of the outside tables on the sidewalk. All of their sandwiches come with a side and they serve a hefty portion of meat on those sandwiches too. I can never finish the... More

I've lived in Franklin for the past few years but just had lunch at the Franklin Mercantile Co. after seeing the restaurant full of people for the umpteenth time. I thought that if there's a lot of people inside, it must be good! There were several high school or college age employees behind the counter and they all seemed like... More

The Franklin MercantileDeli s a local sandwich joint, serving sandwiches soups etc. The food is good but nothing special, the decor and atmosphere mediocre are best.

Nice relaxed mood with country like food, enjoyed it the first time and every time since, it feels like the home made tuna sandwich your mother or grandmother made way back when. We take family and friends here when they come to visit.

Stopped for a business lunch on the second day of my trip. Had the 4th Avenue Club, which is so full you wonder how you will finish it. Was not overly crowded and had a medium noise level.

This little place on the side street has charm and then some; the food is good (I love the chili, and that is what is awesome about the winter.....they have the chili). The fruit tea is sinful good and the service is wonderful. The owner is a hands on guy and you can sometimes see the family in after the... More
