Absolute Garbage! Inedible Food!
The worst Thai or Asian Food I have ever eaten. Very little meat and the dishes sauces were colored water! The Fried Rice had a flavor completely inedible. Never again!
We tried this eatery this past week and we were not impressed. My wife order Chicken Panang and she did not like at all. She is not a picky eater, but there were a lot of ingredients Other than chicken in the dish and the...panang sauce was not good according to her. I had chicken Pad Thai and it was very good. We stopped into the restaurant to order take out because we were out running errands. I now know that I would ever eat at/in the restaurant...things just were not clean.More
The Thai food here is very authentic and tasty. They have an extensive menu, with numerous options for noodle or rice dishes. The prices are good given the quality and quantity of food you get. If you go at busy hours, especially lunch, you may...have to wait a while to get your food. But it's not really bad. You need to be aware that the setting is pretty basic; nothing fancy, just 4 person tables mainly. But I tend to choose good food over setting, which is why I keep going back to Siam Pad Thai.More
We had dinner here with another couple. The service was friendly and quick. The food was very good. We had Red Curry and Vegetable pad Thai. Don't remember what the other couple ate but they said their food was good, too. Good place to eat...when you don't want to spend a fortune.More
Siam used to be one of my favorite spots but this last time i ordered the chicken fried rice and it was just so terribly bland. I took a few bites of my $13 meal and ended up going to get something else instead. Maybe...it was just a off day for them?.. I’m personally going to give this place a rest for a while.More
I had Pad Thai Chicken for lunch (with 3 stars on the ‘hot’ scale). Food was good; nice serving size; and it was only a short wait for the food (about 7 minutes for carry out). Prices were okay - about $10. Overall, it was...good and I will go back the next time I am in the area.More
Here's what you need to know:
- Located in a Strip Center. If there at night, you will be blinded by car headlights beaming through the windows. (Hence the "Blinded by the light" allusion to the classic Manfred Mann song). Also, it does a brisk...take-out business (Think: phone ringing, take-out drivers walking in and out, and a fair amount of hustle and bustle). If you're looking for a romantic venue, it may be wise to seek out better options.
- Service Sucks. The beer I ordered was plopped down in front of me, sans glass. My entrée was served while I was still eating my appetizer. I had to ask for a glass of water. After my meal was served, the watron never came by to ask how it was or to refill my water.
- The Food: Uninspired, but not bad (think: 2.5 out of 5). Besides the beer, I ordered tom yum soup as an appetizer. It had a rich broth with tons of veggies and a few shrimp. Very tasty, but authentic tom yum is supposed to be hot (spicy) and sour, this was neither. My entrée, gang ped (red curry) w/pork was a solid rendition. Good veggies; hot, rich curry (warning: I ordered it "native" spicy, and it was genuinely hot) and bland meat (pork), which tasted like it had been cooked in water (not untypical).
- Value Proposition. Amply-sized portions of average quality + crappy service + crappy ambience for $22.45.More
This Restaurent has the worst customer service possible. The server seemed completely uninterested while taking our order and knew absolutely nothing about the menu. Had to request multiple times to bring cutlery, or a bowl. Totally unacceptable if you’re in the hospitality business, this is...really sad because the food itself had potential but we were too put off my the sever’s attitude to enjoy it.More
The soups were great. Watch out for thai basil stir fry. I eat Thai basil chicken 100 times annually. This was easily the worst Thai food I've ever been served. No Basil. Owner has a bad attitude and when I complained she insisted it was...delicious. I could not eat it but she would not credit us, she would only reheat it and add some basil. Save your money and find a real thai restaurant.More
