A great find in Franklin, TN. Owner's wife provided great service while her husband/chef cooked a fabulous Cajun meal. Would definitely go back.

My friend and I dined outside enjoying delicious meal. The crawfish étouffée and shrimp and grits were our choices to share. WOW, they are delicious choices. Make sure you save room for the warm bread pudding, which is offered with a fantastic sauce.

My daughters and I stumbled across this quaint little restaurant while looking for a place with gluten-free options. Coming from the Gulf Coast and regular visitors to New Orleans, we were not overly optimistic - but there were gluten free options and tables available on a busy Friday night in Franklin. We were pleasantly surprised. The menu had a number... More

My husband and I were spending time in Nashville but ended up spending a day in Franklin. Saw this for lunch and thought we would give it a go. Let me just say we ended up driving back 2 days later (about a 20-25 minute drive from Nashville) for another lunch here! Food is authentically creole and I was able... More

I was on a quest to eat beignets while in Franklin and read somewhere that Papa Boudreaux's had some very comparable to Cafe Du Monde. Whoever said that was crazy - there is no comparison. I might have enjoyed these had I never had the original, but I just couldn't possibly compare the two on the same level. I did... More

I didn't know what to expect from this place. We were walking on main st and saw a lobster (or crawfish?) on the window and we decided to try it out. I got fried redfish and it was amazing! I don't eat wheat and all of their fry batter is gluten free! Such a nice surprise. My fiance got garlic... More

We have been there many times and the cajun food is ok. The location is great. Now, when you go to a Cajun restaurant you….or I want to hear Cajun music. They did not have that playing. They had Christian music playing loudly. I asked the waitress….why aren't you playing cajun music? She said, "oh no, we only play christian... More

We stumbled into Papa's on a cold drizzly day and were met with great smells and friendly staff. Although I am allergic to bell peppers and much of the cajon food has bell peppers I found a lovely dish with shrimp.
