What a unique setting to enjoy a meal! These folks have taken a former home and converted it into a place to showcase great food. My wife and I were passing through Dickson and wanted something, how shall I say it, to "break the chain" – (or, not McDonald's). Well, this place does that. You walk in and can tell... More

Front Porch has a wonderful Sunday lunch. They have a couple of entrees and several vegetable choices that are wonderful traditional southern dishes. Their Friday night dinners are great too with a more gourmet flair.

The food is delicious and the atmosphere is calm. The meatloaf was delicious and my daughter enjoyed the Santa Fe chicken wrap. A great lunch stop.

On my first visit, I was surprised by the variety and the reasonable prices. There was a "blue plate" special, several wraps and sandwiches (including a hamburger) plus a number of salads. There were 5 in our party and each ordered something different. No one was disappointed! And several took home leftovers because each meal had so much good food... More

Visited here for a Friday lunch with friends before our 'antiquing' day in downtown Dickson. Two ordered the 'special' (and said they would be embarrased to serve this) and two of us the 'salad sampler'. Being gluten free, I asked for chips instead of crackers to go with the salads and was charged $1 for a bowl (not a bag)... More

After church you can always count on the Front Porch for a good experience. Food is good, service is always good and they accommodate you as much as possible even when they have to open a little early for guests....The Cranberry Salad is my favorite.

I would have liked to have ordered from a menu but on Sunday's they only give you two choices due to shortened operating hours. The choices were excellent though. Big crowd of church goers, but the service was fast. Blackberry cobbler was super yummy.

The Tennessean newspaper did an article about this restaurant last year which interested me. I made a mental note to try the restaurant because of the "clean/green eating" concepts to which the new owner/chef subscribed. Jamie Protich, owner and chef has an impressive resume touting stints with Nashville restaurants such as The Mad Platter, Sunset Grill and Cabana. So, my... More

The service was VERY slow, the selection was VERY limited, the quality was poor, and the atmosphere was - well, non-existant.

We found this place by accident while looking for something else. The exterior is cute as a bug, and at 11:45 AM on a Sunday, the parking lot was filling fast, which seemed to be the theme of the day! We were lucky to be seated without a wait since there were few tables left. Most diners appeared to be... More
