Great desert

The salmon meal was very good and the salads are huge. The beef tips are not beef tips, more like thinly sliced round steak. The Chocolate Peanut Butter cake was FANTASTIC. The waitress was great and super friendly. I would eat there again, but I wouldn't order the beef tips.

Our experience at the Western Sirloin Restaurant.

My wife and I each ordered steak which was good, however I really like the salad bar for it has many items on the line. We have held business meetings there also, over lunch; but it is a bit to load to hear the speakers talk.

Ok for fast food steak

Stopped at Western Sirloin while traveling through Tennessee. Average food. The 8 ounce ribeye was very thin, which we are not used to. You can’t cook a steak that thin medium!! The smothered chicken was juicy but had a charred flavor. The baked potato was good. Waitress was fine. Ok, but not satisfying.

Out for a Saturday afternoon drive. We passed thru Winchester & stopped in at Western Sirloin for a late lunch. Was not overly crowded but not by any means empty either. We were seated & our drink orders were taken quickly. The wait staff was friendly & attentive. Our drinks & our food both arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Food was exactly as ordered, very tasty & flavorful. My steak was great (ordered medium-rare), needed nothing other than for me to cut it & eat it, delicious! Whenever asked, “would you like steak sauce” (meaning A1 or Heinz57) I usually reply, “ not if it’s cooked right”. This was definitely an occasion where no sauce, not even a sprinkle of salt were needed, yum! Great service, great food! Will visit this restaurant again anytime I’m in the area!

Excellent food, Excellent service

My family and I stayed in Tennessee for one night and decided to visit Western Sirloin for dinner, the best decision ever. Our waitress Paige was awesome. She gave us advice and we took all of them, not disappointed at all. Everything she recommend was delicious. The food was in good portions, tasty, and savory. Everything was served hot. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Just moved into our home here and did not want fast food. Very old fashioned inside, reminded me of Sizzler in Illinois. We were there about 7:30 pm and were seated promptly. Waitress was nice and informative. Salad bar with many choices, plus soup available. Sort of dark and messy around salad bar. Food from salad bar looked and tasted fresh, but it was not clean with items droped from others all over...Steaks were mediocre. Burgers were okay. Desserts were very good.

About the best in town

We were here for a family visit, and needed a good restaurant. Several said this was the place. There are not many good family places to eat in town. There are the normal fast good places, but we wanted something more homemade. We were seated very quickly, with the place rather full. We ordered ribeye steaks, with baked potatoes. I had a salad bar run, and the salad bar was very fresh. So overall the place was very good. Service was also very good. Everyone treated you like you had been there many times before. Again very good food, nice selection, excellent waitstaff.

Highly Recommend this Restaurant

From the time we walked into this restaurant, until we left, we were more that pleased. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed. We could carry on a conversation without shouting as has become common-place these days. The restaurant was squeaky clean. The entire staff from the greeting at our arrival to the goodbyes when we left were friendly and sincere. The food was excellent. Steaks were cooked to perfection.The salad bar was fresh and full. The potato was done perfectly.The cheesecake melted in my mouth. The service was far above average. I can't say enough good things about Western Sirloin. The prices were in line with the franchised steak houses, but the rest was far above those franchises!!!!!

Take your mom to lunch.

I say take your mom to lunch because for a steak house, i find this one to fall a bit short for a steak connoisseur, but your mom will love you for it. great service, salad bar will be the lowest part of your experience, not a good selection, and just not someplace i would go for a great salad bar. They do have excellent lunch specials, and their rubin is outstanding. I would recommend this as a great lunch spot. But i would not take my clients their expecting to impress. it's a mom & dad kind of place and i'm okay with that

Our family as well as most other families have been coming here for years.Every time we do we wonder why. The food is consistently average and the prices are ridiculous. The same old salad bar is not even part of your entree. It's just the place to see everyone.

The lunch and dinner offerings with a good selection . Fresh salad bar. Clean place with good service. My Dad likes the Spaghetti. I also like the Broiled Chicken Sandwich with steak fries at lunch. Have a glass of sweet tea and relax.
