I wish TA's scale was 1-10. We'd give BL an 8 or 9. Atmosphere was casual formal. Servers presented well and were polite and courteous. Selection was nice, varied and different. Food was very good and prices were reasonable. Save room for homemade desserts!

This was a nice enough place. The food was very good, not awesome, perhaps a wee bit overpriced for what you got. I had the impression it is very much a steak-ish place - my companion's dinner was (I suspect) a better deal than my salmon was (although it was tasty, no doubt). We had a little confusion about what... More

Lunch was so good, and the after talking to the chef decided to go back and celebrate my B-D dinner with them this coming Saturday. A great selection of wines, which can be purchased in wine store as one exits. Chestnut Hill Winery has a tasting bar and a very unusual array of gifts. Great Place!

Worth every penny. Next door to Chestnut Hill Winery. Both were great stops on our trip to Nashville.

My wife and I ate here while we were visiting Crossville and staying at the hotel across the street. The restaurant is old and outdated. We had the prime rib, the house special. I have had much better and warmer. We sent it back to be warmed. There was a large party in the room next to us and it... More

This restaurant was recommended. Normally, I would go to a chain while out on business, but wanted to try something new. I ordered the Parmesan Tilapia. It came with a salad, some mixed veggies and choice of baked potato or rice; I got the potato. The fish was cooked perfectly, not an abundance of flavor, but cooked well. The salad... More

We were pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and cleanliness of the Brass Lantern. Food and service were both great, and it was convenient to the Holiday Inn Express where we were staying.

Not having been to The Brass Lantern much lately, I thought it time to provide a new review since I've eaten there twice this week. This is probably the best restaurant in the Crossville, TN, area. Another nearby restaurant may advertise better and sound better, but, believe me, it's not. The other place is extremely high-priced and serves very salty... More

This was one of the more expensive restaurants but it was worth the price. The food and service was excellent. We had steak which was cooked to our liking and very tender. Their garlic mashed potatoes were the best! Would definitely go back!

Great service; good food at a reasonable price; Nice atmosphere for a quality dinner. Selection is somewhat limited for entrées; however my wife rated the shrimp and chicken appetizers as excellent.
