I found the sandage very good. I would compare it to the Fire House Sub, I enjoy both, but I believe that the Fire House is a little cheaper in price, and may have the edge because of that.

Got a delicious pizza from World Foods, the awesome guy at the counter said "if you want to go on over to the silo, we will deliver". Great pizza. Hands Down the best in Cookeville.

After reading the Reviews on Trip Advisor, my husband and I decided to stop at World Foods for lunch today, as we were in Cookeville for a Dr's appointment. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED!!! We opted for the basic Cheese & Tomato pizza so that we could really concentrate on the crust. The crust is not too thin or thick, in... More

Coming home to Austin, we went out of our way towing a 25' trailer to find this place for lunch....and we were not disappointed. It was well worth the time and effort. The pizza is great and the sandwiches are mile high. The place is run by the owners and the dough for the pizza is made from leftover grain... More

Stopped by here after seeing on TA. We had a steak and a chicken Shawarma. It was pretty good. Definitely different than what I've had in the Middle East but good nonetheless. Pizza smelled awesome. We'll save that for the next trip.

We stopped here after hiking at Cummins Falls. I got the Lahmacun and my husband ordered the steak shawarma. We also ordered a pizza to share and to snack on later that night. Everything we got was AMAZING! There are no words for just how good our meal was. The pizza was better than any we've ever had. I wish... More

Amazing food, quaint atmosphere. Go if you are ever in the area. You won't regret the small drive off the Interstate to downtown. We had the Gyro and Feta Pizza and Falafel Sandwich. Delicious!

Tried World Foods after seeing it reviewed on TA. The pizza was terrific and they have an excellent selection that you can get by the slice. Wife had a Greek salad that was very good. Gyro was OK. Cannoli was outstanding. This place is definitely worth a try.

Thank Pete P
