Stopped in while we were riding around simply because we hadn't been yet. My brother in law lives in Cookeville and says it always smells amazing. We sat down in a very comfortable and cozy atmosphere and was greeted by a splendid waitress with light purple hair. (I'm so sorry I didn't get your name, I know you told me... More

Great food, service was outstanding and the servings were more than we could eat. Gotta try the banana pudding!

We had a business lunch there back in July. This was the first time I had eaten at Bobby Q's since they had moved from their historic location on North Washington. The ambiance and the service left much to be desired. Both were certainly not up to their previous standards. The pulled pork BBQ was still good though. Unfortunately, the... More

We stopped on a Thursday night with big group of native southerners, midwest and west coast diners, with advance reservations for 12, they quickly accommodated our additions of up to 17 people, from 7 to 83 years of age. With its Americana decor with a some Harley Davidson memorabilia thrown in, that really pleased the Milwaukeeans in our group we... More

We were greeted and seated by a friendly, smiling hostess. She failed to notice the food littered all the way across my booth seat. I used the menu to clean it off. We ordered the sampler platter and the fried bbq smoked chicken. The sampler platter consisted of pulled pork (just ok), beef brisket(dried out and chewy) and the pork... More

I love bbq. So, when we visit a bbq joint, I am always the critic. My husband took me here because it is known as the best in the town and has been around for many years. I can't say that it's the best I have ever had. However, it is very good!! The best I've had in the area.... More

Bobby Q's has been a Cookeville staple for many years and the food has stayed consistently good. Best barbecue in town. Ribs are great and the pulled pork excellent. If you like good barbecue this is the place to be

We have made many stops to eat in Cookeville at the three exits along I-40. We have never ventured into the true heart of the town to eat. The wife and I decided to try Bobby Q's for lunch on Saturday while seeing the Tini House show. Unfortunately they are not open for Lunch on Saturday so we did the... More

I ordered the pork stuffed baked potato. The price was very reasonable, and was a very large portion. The issue I had was - they have moved their location - but haven't updated their address. We placed a large order for pick up (working business lunch)- and when it wasn't at the location on their site - one of the... More
