Stan's Restaurant is currently being rebuilt. It is still under construction, although it looks like it may not be much longer until finished. I seem to remember that it might have been burned a while ago and they are replacing it???? Not sure if that is 100% correct, though.

I used to stop in to this restaurant several years ago when I was travelling this area more frequently. Stopped in for breakfast as we were passing through. They are under construction, but it didn't have any affect on parking or seating. The waitress was friendly and the place was clean. We ordered breakfast. The country ham and eggs was... More

It has been a while (years) since I ate in the Tennessee/southern area. You can spend more money on standard food or take a chance with local stuff. Stan's is local stuff and it is not for those with $40/person restaurant taste buds. I rate this as similar to a Cracker Barrel but with a local twist that makes it... More

Passing through seeking a lunch place ended up at Stans. The shop area is nice with novelty and local food items. We ordered Fried Chicken dinners for two and when they arrived the chicken was still ice cold in the middle. Sent back our entrees to have two over done fried chicken dinners. Awful experience will never return.

I ended up here about 11:00 am on Wednesday because Marcy Jo's was closed. Had lunch. Chicken fried steak, white beans, mashed potatoes rolls, and turnip greens. Iced tea to drink. I thought for lunch it was high. $9.99 for meal $2.00 for tea plus tip. Food did come out hot. Was pretty good. Not more than that. They offer... More
