My husband and I have eaten at Stan's too many times to count. Today, for the first time we went to the new building, which was very pretty and nice. We waited a long time for our food to arrive, and it was not the usual delicious country cooking that we had experienced so many times. Service was slow, and... More

Waited for an uncomfortably long time on the bench by the host podium for a table. Some guy that said he was the manager finally came by and said he would serve us. Then he started mentioning "deep fried boiled eggs". I told him that did not sound appealing to me. Then he mentioned them again. That time I told... More

I decided to make the stop from Hsv to Nashville on exit 46 at 10am on Thursday. Cracker Barrel is across the street and packed. Only a couple of tables were occupied in this brand new restaurant so we assumed we would get in and out. Boy was I wrong. We waited longer for service and food (35min)than we would... More

We decided to give Stan's another chance today since the new building just opened which is very nice. However, same old food! I had "Country Fried Chicken", which was actually baked chicken, that was heated over several times and was so salty and dry I could not finish it. It was served with lukewarm, flavorless white beans and greens beans... More

I will start off with a disclaimer. The sign outside said this restaurant has been here since 1947, But just reopened 2 days ago after building a new building. With that said the new building is very attractive. The food however was just okay. It is across the street from a Cracker Barrel so when given the choice I always... More

Stan's Restaurant is currently being rebuilt. It is still under construction, although it looks like it may not be much longer until finished. I seem to remember that it might have been burned a while ago and they are replacing it???? Not sure if that is 100% correct, though.

I used to stop in to this restaurant several years ago when I was travelling this area more frequently. Stopped in for breakfast as we were passing through. They are under construction, but it didn't have any affect on parking or seating. The waitress was friendly and the place was clean. We ordered breakfast. The country ham and eggs was... More
