Their craft beer was a 3.5 out of 5 and the food was good, but nothing special. However, the service we had eating and drinking beer (and wine) at the bar was outstanding!

We went there on a Monday night but the place was busy. They seated us quickly. The staff went out of its way to make sure that we we comfortable. Nice appetizer selection. We had the cheese plate and the sampler. Super beer. I tried...a flight of mostly dark beers and settled on the delicious Black Horse as the beverage with my meal. Our meals were fantastic. My buddy had a great looking pizza. I had Ork chops that were cooked perfectly. Our wives both had flatbreads. Great atmosphere. Simply an outstanding experience.More

The food was really good, appetizers came out hot and tasty, burger was cooked perfectly (medium) and juicy. The staff was very friendly, the only concern is the social distancing. But over all great place.

Prime rib sandwich was so over cooked and dry you couldn’t even bite in it. Just because you cover it in cheese doesn’t make it less dry.You would think people that expedite the food would check for the quality of the food .I let my...meal go back, my husband ate half of his sandwich before he gave up trying to chew this dry mess. If we ever go back I know what not to get.More

Stopped in on Halloween about 4:30 and seated promptly. Masks were evident as required and tables spaced. We saw them and chais cleaned as soon as clients left. Enjoyable time as most of staff in costume and lots of imagination evident. Good service from Ryan....Soft drink and a Barnstormers Red Ale brought immediately. Started with the appetizer sampler. 4 very good potato skins, 4 chicken tenders breaded nicely and 4 fried mozzarella sticks. Red sauce, honey mustard and sour cream served with appetizers. Main course my wife ordered the Greek salad with 4 chicken tenders on the side. I had the Reuben sandwich with a side of Brussel Sprouts. The salad was tasty as was the Reuben and Sprouts were excellent. We will be through this area again and plan to stop here again. Rustic old building in the Old Town part and the inside JSU very nice.More

We ate lunch here and it was excellent, as were our beers. We had crispy Brussels sprouts, cheddar pimento dip, Baja shrimp tacos and Cajun pasta. Delicious! They were very busy but since there were only 2 of us we got a table without having...to wait (they don't take reservations). Staff was all wearing masks (yay!) and were all VERY friendly and helpful. The only downside was the fact that although there is a BIG sign on the door REQUIRING everyone who enters to be masked many, many people came in without masks and no one addressed it. It made me very uncomfortable, I can only hope management notices and addresses this.More

If you ride you know that you never take the short way. A two hour trip takes 4. It is a cool 😎 older building in old down town. The brunch menu had some choices. We all tried different things and they were all great...👍. The beer 🍻 was really really good 😊.More

I was in town for business and decided to try the Black Horse for lunch. The food was outstanding. The fried chicken breast with brown gravy was best I have ever had. I will be returning to the Clarksville area for more business and this...will be a regular stop for me.More

We ordered two pizzas, the works and the all meat. Both were incredible but the group definitely ate the all meat faster. Also got a beer flight and a cocktail which were both yummy.

Cute place, quite busy, all ages of people here from kids to much older adults. Nice atmosphere, great beer too. Husband LOVED the Cletus burger. I had the Fiery Hawaiian Pizza (pineapple and jalapeno) and O.M.G. was that good!!

Yes, they take credit cards. It is on-street parking, but usually it’s easy to find parking.

No Reservations are required. I don't know if they even make them.
