We were headed to Florida and wanted Mexican for supper. I'm glad we stumbled upon this restaurant. It's only maybe half a mile off of 65 and located in a strip mall. Our food was good and very inexpensive. My husband got a combo meal...and I got the chicken chimichanga meal. Our bill was less than $30. There was plenty of food and it was all very good.More

Place became busy with locals so you know it is top knotch. Burritos and fajita salad were delicious....Husband loved the pork in his burritoyou will not be disappointed.More

My husband and I ate here while traveling in late April 2019. The first thing we noticed was a funny smell after we walked in. Not sure what is was, but both of us commented on it after we were seated. It took a good...8 to 10 minutes before anyone came to our table (my husband was getting ready to leave) to take our order and then it took a while longer even to get chips and salsa. The food was okay, but the server never even came back to ask how we were doing until we were already done and ready for the check. Bottom line is we won't be returning, we'll find another place to eat next time.More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on Sunday. We were seated immediately and our server was quick to get our drinks order. Real good service all around. I noticed that staff was making homemade salsa and guacamouli (sp?) wearing gloves. Nice to know....My husband ordered the fajitas and I had the chimmichauga. Both dishes were served hot, fresh and plentiful. Would recommend this restaurant.More

We came in for a meal after a very long day of driving, hoping for some authentic Mexican food and a decent margarita on Cinco de Mayo. The restaurant is very noisy and very tired. Nothing about it was clean, or even happy. The server...was pleasant, but not helpful. He either didn’t speak English, or just didn’t want to bother. Our food was okay. My husband’s meal was a fish fajita, and was large and had many kinds of fish in it. When we asked the server what kinds they were, he shrugged. My California burrito was fine. The margaritas tasted like green cool aid. We will be looking for a better meal while we’re here. Somewhere, anywhere else.More

Hostess, Server, Server Assistant were all very pleasant. The food was fantastic, the price was right, and we will be back. We were attending the Tye-Dye festival, and staying just up the street.

I have not been back to this restaurant in awhile due to the service, but my family suggested we try again. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. I do not believe the servers are happy with their job. The servers act like they are doing you a...favor by waiting on you. We never got re-fills on our drinks and two of us were drinking alcoholic beverages so you would think they would want to sell more of these. I had the chicken fajita salad and there were literally three pieces of chicken. The rest was onions and peppers with a big blob of sour cream on top and one skinny slice of tomato and a dallop of avocado. It was a mess. My son and his wife ordered the steak and chicken fajitas. Where's the steak? There was about five pieces of chicken and three pieces of steak. The rest was peppers and onions! My husband ordered the Beef Chimichanga and he ate two bites and said it was terrible. Again, where's the beef? They give lots of fillers but no meat. I believe this will be the last time we visit them! I do hope their staff finds happiness.More

The service gets worse every time we go. I had not been there in about a month but decide we would give it another chance. The waiters seem to ignore you once you finally get your food. We sat our drink glasses on the end...of the table and our waiter walked by us at least three times and never offered to refill them. There are a few waiters there that give great service but we seem to get one of the lazy ones. Never going back to the restaurant.More

While traveling we decided to get off the road at Clarksville. There weren't many restaurants by the interchange. We drove west a bit and found this place. It was noonish on a Sunday and was very busy. The service was a bit slow but not...too bad considering the crowd. We were offered chips and salsa and received beverages while waiting for our orders. The food was very good and generous portions. We were both satisfied and we're back on the road before too long. It was a nice break from driving. You have to look carefully for it. It's in a small strip mall west of I65. Worth the stop!More

Nothing bad to say about this place! We went on a Friday night and they were pretty busy but we still got very good service. The food was really good! My husband and I each got a burrito (they were really big!) I got a...side of white queso, which was so good now I can’t stop craving it Haha! And my husband got a beer and our check was less that $22!More

We have eaten at Poncho Villa since it opened. At first we thought it was good. But over time the taste of food has gone downhill. We began to order our food and pick it up. Over and over they continue to get our order...wrong! Every time we get home and open the cartons, it is either not what we ordered, they leave something out or it is over-cooked, not tasting that good. Even the salsa has gone downhill. After another wrong order tonight, I give up!!! No more! I will no longer be a customer of Pancho Villa. We will find another Mexican food restaurant! For a family of 4 we spend around $100. We will take our business elsewhere!!!!! Done!More

My wife and I go here for their Steak and Shrimp dinner. The steaks are always tender and the shrimp are grilled. They have a very kind staff and they have adequate parking most of the time. Always enjoy eating here.

This small town restaurant near Nashville, TN is exceptional. Overall nice decor, indoor and outdoor dining, separate bar area as well as very good service. I was dining alone so cannot attest to menu items other than what I ordered. I had Enchiladas Suizas Verdes,...guacamole, and frozen margaritas. I have dined in more Mexican restaurants since my childhood than I can count. Some have been terrible. some pedestrian, and some excellent. With the wide varieties of regional Mexican food offered in different restaurants, it isn't easy to compare. However, I have a standard meter for all: Salsa and chips. If the salsa is tasteless, plain, or hot without subtlety and flavor, that's a really bad start. Margarita. Weak? Poorly balanced taste (too sweet, too much strong lime, too little tequila and triple sec? Watery? This could almost be a killer. Beans? Runny, out of a can taste? Another poor sign. Enchiladas with dry chicken, too little sauce, drowning in cheese? Typical of many places. Hear's the good news: The salsa was perfect, chips light and fresh tasting, guacamole smooth and well flavored with chiles, cilantro. Beans with good flavor (I didn't have room to try the rice). Margarita good (not the absolute best I've ever had but they didn't ask me to make them like I do at home!) The real standout were the enchiladas. The chicken filling was moist, shredded, filled with tomatoes, peppers and onions that had been cooked with it. The tortillas were stuffed to perfection and the tomatillo salsa was probably the best I've ever had. There was a nice sprinkling of melted cheese that was complimentary. The dinner priced at less than $10 also included a large simple salad with shredded lettuce, a sliced tomato, guacamole and sour cream. This food reminds me of what I had many years ago in friends' homes in Texas, those who still had a Mexican woman cooking in their kitchens, adding love to all they prepared. I felt the love in my food tonight.More
