5 star fried mushrooms!! Huge! Bigger than a silver dollar. Filet steak cooked as we asked for it! The shrimp cocktail had shrimp bigger than my thumb and tasted very fresh, and the salad was delicious, all dressings were home made. Another appetizer I had was oysters Rockefeller and was disappointed to find sand in the mix. The service was slow but we weren't in a rush so that was ok. We were there over an hour. We would definitely go again though, just getting something besides the oysters.

My wife and I ate hear on Thursday night while in town. It is located in a very old downtown building.
We called during their indicated open hours but had to leave a message asking about making a reservation. We did get a call back form the owner or manager within 20 minutes, and coupled with the message about limited hours, it appears that staffing could be an issue.
Being from out of town, we had some minor difficulty in finding a place to park in downtown Clarksville, but that is not really the restaurant's fault.
We were greeted promptly and seated immediately upon arrival. Waiter, D.J., was friendly. Service overall was very good. Food was excellent! We had two filets, both prepared to order (medium, medium rare) and very tender. Wife had garlic mashed potatoes, I had a twice baked. Desserts were good as well - caramel chocolate cheesecake and bourbon pecan pie.
Wine selections were limited (two cabernet option) but the more expensive (by $2/glass) was excellent.
The only real negative was a guest seated on the other side of the booth who kept rocking. This moved the seatback. Unfortunately, he did not stop when I asked. Again, not something the restaurant can control but it was annoying and detracted from the otherwise excellent experience.

Edward’s is quite possibly the best restaurant I’ve been to hands down. I’ve been to much more expensive steakhouses in NYC, LA, Dallas, Chicago, Vegas, London, Paris, Milan around the world and Edward’s can stand up to any of them with it’s impeccable service and exquisite cuisine.
For the price of a Texas Roadhouse you can have a meal worthy of a Michelin star. Chef Ramsay needs to come pay Edward’s a visit because my meal at Edward’s was a fraction of the cost of his place Gordon Ramsay Steak in Vegas but 10,000 times better in both flavor and in service.
The Caleb’s Ribeye is my go to but the chicken Alfredo is a must try. The sauce and pasta are made from scratch in house. When I had the Alfredo tonight it reminded me of my grandmother. It was so close to hers I left with tears in my eyes because they had given me a precious gift of feeling my grandmother around me once again.
The gracious hospitality, excellent food and exceptional service keep us coming back. Edward’s is a must try

A relative was very excited to take us to this restaurant for a special occasion. We were in town for only two days. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:30 on a Wednesday and were greeted nicely. We were seated and had a male waiter. Oysters Rockefeller were very good. I ordered the prime rib cooked rare which was not at all rare. Seriously overcooked. My husband ordered the ahi tuna rare. I asked if it was encrusted in sesame seeds, he said yes. They did not have wasabi for a rare ahi tuna, which I thought was strange.
Food was delivered and the tuna smelled terrible, and it was not rare at all ~ not pink not red totally gray severely over cooked and smelled atrocious, like it had been taken out of the freezer and just thrown on the grill. My husband had two bites and felt like he was going to be sick. He did not eat anymore.
My relative had a gift card for $100. When the waiter brought the bill, she gave him the gift card plus $30 as his tip. He came back to say the gift card was not valid. I’ve never in my life known of a restaurant gift card to have an expiration date. The waiter got the manager who came over and told us that the gift card was two years old and was unable to be used. Did not argue and paid with a credit card. The bill came and there was an option for a tip, but the waiter had already taken the $30 so there was a zero written in the tip space because he had already gotten his tip.
Edward’s Steakhouse had already gotten paid $100 for a gift card two years ago. They get paid again for a meal for $105 which was almost inedible. I’m appalled at the service of the management. They got double pay. As I stated prior, I’ve never known for a restaurant gift card to expire. I will never go there again, neither will the purchaser of the gift card. Only my opinion.

Clarksville's version of fine dining. Food was good but price wise compared to chain steakhouse was expensive. Portions were usual. The restaurant boasts fine dining but patrons weren't dressed the way you'd like in a fine dining establishment. Piano player was good but couldn't hear well do to dining noise. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu & food items & gave great food & drink recommendations. Overall was a good restaurant but for the price will probably go elsewhere.

Great old fashioned style steak house. Great piano jazz playing. Still had there Christmas decorations up for nice added ambiance. Well decorated. Blue cheese crumbles on your steak if you like. Filet Mignon was heavenly. They also have some great Italian dishes and great desert options. Rochelle and Jocelyn are sweetheart servers. Next time I’m there I will need to visit the full bar they have upstairs. Cheers !!!

My son and myself are both steak lovers and always in search of places that caters to both of our taste buds.
We were walking riverside one afternoon and happened upon Edward's steakhouse on the way to another nearby eatery.
We opted to try Edward's steakhouse; we made the right decision in our impromptu change.
We had the Edward's Duet and it has been our staple on each trip thereafter.
The salads are crisp, fresh, and just the proper amount to save room for those sumptuous steaks!
If you have bypassed this winner; you have not had a great steak lately.
Yes, we go each and every time we revisit Clarksville.
Deidre is usually our server and she is just delightful.
I have nothing negative to say about the entire experience.

Edwards has the best steak in town. I am not a fan of red meat often, but I love the filets at Edwards. Always fast and friendly service. Their days and hours are somewhat limited so check to make sure they are open before you head over.

We met friends for dinner. Our server did a wonderful job. Our drinks arrived quickly as did the appetizers. We all ordered steaks and all were very good. The portions were large and we all left quite full.
The only drawback is parking. There is a parking structure about a block away but not a terrible walk.

First time in Clarksville. Didn't know where to go but wanted a decent meal that was not part of a national chain. Edward's was perfect. Great food, excellent service, soft, quiet atmosphere. Highly recommended. Will go back next time we are in town.

We had the rehearsal dinner for my sons wedding at Edward’s in downtown Clarksville - I have no idea why this restaurant isn’t ranked #1 by trip advisor. The food and service were excellent, the marque was a fun touch and the owners were terrific and so accommodating working details long distance. The only negative is that I forgot to take more pictures to capture the event.❤️. We will be back on our next visit.

Sat in the bar area because we did not have reservations. Bartender provided excellent drink recommendations (drink wasn’t on menu) based on what I liked. Food was amazing. Atmosphere was great.

The expectations were really high for what was supposed to be the best steak house in town. The reception was wonderful, the service was great...but the meal was really...sadly...disappointing. We both ordered filets...hers was cooked correctly, medium rare...mine, ordered the same, was well done. Maybe it was a bad night for the chef, but the same steak at the same time and the same temp request, not sure why it got so off???
