Greyfriar's didn't close down their downtown location, they just moved around the corner next to The Sports Barn on Broad Street. It's a GREAT move for them. The folks at Greyfriar's really put some thought into a great makeover of the old downtown Smoothie King. Along with their fine coffee, teas and smoothies, they brought their artwork to add to... While waiting for our DUCK tour we had time to kill so we ordered 2 small coffees and a small chocolate cookie. We were surprised that we were charge 7.98 for it! The coffee was weak and the cupcake small yet average tasting.

Greyfriars has a new location (since our last visit)! Their coffee is still excellent and staff is friendly and helpful! We bought our usual Brazil coffee beans which are excellent! Highly recommended! Enjoy!

Went to the Broad St location, and the store is closed and empty of all equipment/tables/etc. No notice as to new location. Stumbled onto what appears to be a new location on Market street, but it was closed for the entire weekend that we were in Chattanooga.

Coffee is strong and good. This is a quiet place to relax and enjoy some time. The food is very good and hand made. Because it is a small place sometimes it takes a little longer but better than waiting in line at the chain stores. Local business

It is located in an area that is filled with restaurants, a vibrant downtown. Perhaps they had a bad day and were training new personnel, but things were a bit slow. It is the south and that's fine. When the food arrived it was OK.

Just visited this coffee shop and had a good experience. I ordered a chaipaccino. It was not exceptional, but satisfying.

I got an iced coffee. The beans were nothing special but it definitely served its purpose. The baristas were extremely friendly. I could see myself going back a few times a week if I lived in Chatanooga, as they made me feel very welcome. What I appreciated most was the art. It felt like walking in a sort of steam... More
