We love to drive from Nashville to spend the weekend in Chattanooga. No trip is complete without a meal at Aretha's. Yes, the wait can be upwards of an hour, but that is evidence of how good it is. I always have a breakfast burrito with eggs and 4 other fillers (the refried beans for sure!!!). Comes with biscuit or... More

First time here for breakfast , just traveling threw. Loved the atmosphere and the whole set up of the place. Sever was really nice although she could of paid a little more attention to us as far as if we needed any napkins and refills, etc... the pancakes were huge and pretty good. The rest of the breakfast was good... More

Mmm, I've eaten here several times for breakfast/lunch and have never been disappointed. Think I could go for chicken and waffles now. NOM!

This place is unique! Its in a house, all kinds of stuff on walls and ceiling. Even a Ms Pac Man machine as a table. My husband and son shared 3 pancakes, while I had a gouda cheese omlette with homefries and a biscut. The pancakes were SO BIG and fluffy, my was out of this world and the homefries... More

Ok, so it's a dive. And has about 14 seats. And the wait is more than you want to spend. But, damn, this place is fantastic and worth every minute waiting. The food is amazingly good and the service is very attentive to your needs. Find this place, camp out and wait your turn. You won't regret it!

OK, I'm not reviewing the food because we didn't eat. We just walked to the front door and there was an hour wait (it was about 1045 on a Saturday ) and we chose not to stay because we wanted to get on with our sightseeing. Definitely want to go back, but maybe not with a kid next time either.... More

So much food! You will be very mad at yourself if you do not order the inch thick pancakes. This place is quite eclectic and if you don't get here early you might have to wait an hour or two to get in. It is a tiny place with a lot of loyal customers in a cute older neighborhood. Dine... More

From the moment you walk up, you can tell it's not the ordinary breakfast joint. A super cool time-capsule back to a place/time when you didn't stare at the clock, pager, phone, etc. and just enjoyed being in the moment. From the music to the decor, you're drawn in to the free-spirit vibe. Now, on to the other reason we... More

Unique little place off the beaten path. The steam punk vibe threw me off a little bit but the food is amazing. Service was great. A little bit of a challenge to find parking. I will definitely be back next time I'm in town.
