Small restaurant - we went on a weekday mid-morning & got to sit right down. Great food and service. Try the pancakes! Good variety of food & drink.

This small place is packed with amazing memorabilia. We loved exploring everything during our short wait for our Ms. Paceman table! The pancakes were yummy but huge! Come hungry! Definitely worth the stop!

It was my second time eating there. Wonderful food! This time though the host acted as if he had better places to be and was very rude to other customers. I've been a hostess and I know people fudge it to get a table quick but he was rude as could be to SEVERAL groups. When we were seated our... More

We were visiting Chattanooga and this restaurant was within walking distance of where we were staying and it had good reviews. Upon arriving, there seemed to be a few locals hanging out at the entrance. They appeared intoxicated and ask for our id as they laughed. We got past them. Sat down to a very limited menu. Decor was interesting... More

Decided to go here for a nice goodbye breakfast before me and my husband started our return trip home to Massachusetts. Place is very eclectic, which I loved but the service was just ok! There was 8 of us, 4 at a table and 4 at the bar! We all got there at the same time and the 4 at... More

No kidding, they really do serve pancakes that are an inch thick - they take up most of a dinner plate too, so they are HUGE! They also serve standard breakfast fare with omelets, grits, biscuits, french toast, fried potatoes, bacon, etc. Everything we had was delicious. This is a fun, punk rock kind of place that is family friendly... More

The atmosphere was amazing and fun, but the food was average. The staff was friendly but lost my appetite when my husband and friends noticed the staff scratching his head and then handling "clean" cups.

My husband and I traveled to Chattanooga in early October for a part business, part couples quick get way weekend. We found this gem based on a local friends recommended, and wow, is it a treat for the eyes and mouth! It is nestled just outside of the downtown area, on the north shore. A drive or hefty bike ride... More

Visited around noon on a Saturday. We had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated but we're given coffee right away. This restaurant had really cool decorations and a fun atmosphere. The breakfast food was great and the staff were all friendly. Will definitely be visiting again.

We love to drive from Nashville to spend the weekend in Chattanooga. No trip is complete without a meal at Aretha's. Yes, the wait can be upwards of an hour, but that is evidence of how good it is. I always have a breakfast burrito with eggs and 4 other fillers (the refried beans for sure!!!). Comes with biscuit or... More
