Went with some friends when we stopped in town for breakfast and loved it! I got the breakfast burrito and my wife got pancakes and chicken. Both were really good. The hash browns had a southwest flavor that was amazing. Definitely would recommend! It's overlooking the river too so had great views. Service was friendly too

This is a favorite summer place to eat outside with a good selection of sandwiches, salads, drinks, and speciality items. Our favorite is their home made potato chips with cheese and salsa.

This is a must eat place. The food is fantastic...fresh and delicious. Fried chicken of some sort is a must. I had the wrap...excellent. My husband had pancake and chicken...loved it. We will definitely be back.

The restaurant is a couple of blocks from the Aquarium and has outdoor seating for a very scenic view of the river. The food was good. For breakfast, there are the usual choices - omelettes, biscuits & gravy, etc. The price is about $10 per person for most breakfast selections.

Our family stopped in after a visit to the Aquarium (it's a 3 minute walk away) for lunch. Our meal was very good and we enjoyed the outdoor seating. The fried chicken was well seasoned and cooked perfectly.

With a name The Blue Plate, I am not sure but I was thinking more southern food. Not a lot of breakfast items. I just got a biscuit and cheese grits. However, the biscuit was very good. Others in my party had a the burrito and said it was good. There was nothing on the kids menu for breakfast that... More

I walked into the Blue Plate about 5 pm. They were busy, but there were lots of tables available. No one came to the table or said hello for 10 minutes. When I went to the bar to ask for a waitress, I got a snarky response. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and broccoli casserole. The bun fell apart... More

In town for the Head of the Hooch and The Blue Plate is located at the river. I was to row in just a short time but wanted a "light" snack to tide me over. I ended up ordering the non-light Mac and cheese. It was creamy and yummy. The waiter was courteous and did a great job of serving... More

I had the chicken wrap and I wish it had more chicken in it, my son had the pulled pork sandwich but it wasn't very big or filling. My other son like the fried chicken with mashed potatoes. The chips were OK that came with the sandwiches.

We only had breakfast here so I can't speak for other meals, but everyone in our party of five enjoyed their meal immensely. The bacon is amazing and the biscuits are huge. Omelet was fluffy, and chicken with pancake outstanding. Two in our party had the french toast. Everyone cleaned their plate. We'll definitely return next time we're in town.
