This is a pub where the locals go. There is indoor and outdoor dining. I have been there twice at the recommendation of my son. They have the best friend chicken I have ever eaten. First visit, I had fried chicken with two sides...Second visit I had the fried chicken caesar salad...Humongous portions for me..If I had not lived out... More

This place has a great vibe and atmosphere. Tommy was my bartender and he was great made me feel like I was at home. I had the steak and a stout on tap both amazing! Great job cooks! Thanks for a nice pit stop on my journey back home.

They are VERY busy on weekend nights (Thurs-Sat). I recommend going for weekend brunch or weekday lunch. The patio can be kinda noisy, but it's covered and dog-friendly.

If you don't mind a little smoke (as it is a smoking bar) this bar is pretty neat. A little hole in the wall that has an excellent selection of beer, not to mention great customer service.

Visited for lunch. One persons chicken strips were a bit overcooked but the Reuben and shepherds pie, it was called something else, was delicious. Very friendly service.

When we are at Chattanooga we have to go to the Hair Of the Dog pub. The ambience, food, beer, mimosa, everything is just right.

Great bar with a fantastic selection of drinks. One of my wife and my favorite stops when we visit. Don't sleep on the food because it's fantastic. The jalapeño corn dogs and the buffalo chicken wrapped in the egg roll wrapper are really good. Awesome selection of beers and I am sure a great place to catch a game..

Walked here for lunch after spending the morning at the Hunter Museum. The had a solid selection of pub food and sandwiches, and a selection of weekly specials that were a little more upscale. Service was quick, friendly, and attentive, and I liked the selection of seasonal beers.

While looking for an unusual sort of place to have a drink, we spotted the Hair of the Dog on the corner. The downstairs was small and somewhat smoky, but a waitress quickly offered us an outside table, as well as an upstairs table, both of which were more favorable options. The beer selection was nice, especially the local drafts... More

Visited during the Riverbend Festival. We ordered the Kinda Cobb Salad and the Ben Franklin (turkey & cheese sandwich). Beers were cold, food was good. Prices are reasonable. We would visit again!
