Stopped for lunch and we were extremely pleased with the salsaleto turkey sandwich. Great old style deli.

Bruce's place is a Deli Oasis, the Philly Rueben is fantastic, the Chef Salad "The Works" is great and there are often daily specials. Bread is fresh and flavorful. The staff is gracious and friendly. You can cut through the store upstairs and come down the stairs or walk around through the park. If I lived here this would be... More

Stopped in for lunch after walking the Walnut Street Bridge. The location is a bit tricky to find, but GPS will take you there. Service was fast! Near the order counter is a board that lists specials of the day. We tried the Muffaletta, Hot Reuben, and special of the day broccoli cheddar soup. Service was quick, sandwiches were tasty,... This is not a New York deli...but if you want the closest equivalent in Chattanooga this is the place to go. Owner Bruce Weiss is a character...makes it a better experience..great place for lunch

Just ask Bruce for what you want. You will get it! This was a gem to find offering typical NYC lunches. All soups, salads, sandwiches and sweets remind you that great lunches can be had in USA. Don't be talked into something you may not want, the offerings are extensive! Easy to get to, and many local diners.

Go with the daily specials or ask Bruce for a recommendation. Everything is delicious but he will always tell what you what to get. Favorite Cuban and French dip sandwich I have ever had.

A little hard to find but well worth the effort. Wonderful spot to grab a deli sandwich and walk over to the River and eat, or if you have kids, there is a very nice splash park. Highly recommend for a casual outdoor lunch.

LOVED the sammich and the soup here. I got their recommended sandwich of the day, which I can't even remember what it was and a bowl of tomatoey soup. It was an easy and quick order in a really unique locale along the river on the north side. My friend rode up from Atlanta and we shared the sandwich. The... More
