Great atmosphere with a line 30 minutes before it even opened. Spicy chicken biscuit with honey was fantastic. Eggs and bacon were great. The frittata was somewhat bland.

What a unique hang out. The vibe is very relaxed but the food and the drinks are amazing! Our server was attentive and very knowledgable about the food and where it came from. You can tell that he was proud to work there; this made for a top notch evening and making plans to return soon.

We went here for brunch and after a bit of a wait we got a great table near the bar! Flying Squirrel offered vegetarian options for brunch too which was wonderful for me. My friends enjoyed the chicken biscuit for brunch which looked yummy. The mimosas were great; tasty and very full of champagne! There was a live band playing... More

Excellent food and service... I have every intention of coming back to try other dishes. the fried rice was terrific and so was the chicken tacos. I plan to go back to try the brisket very soon. Also the service was really great... our server was knowledgeable and attentive but not too attentive ... If you're nearby, try this place...... More

Can get some great food here, and they have an extensive beer list. If you can, go on a day when it is warmer as they have a really nice outdoor patio/bar area. As an FYI, the portion aren't huge here, which I like, but might bother other people.

This place is beautiful, fun and loud. I had corned beef , collard greens and black eyed peas with cornbread . Food was really good. Service was friendly and just ok. But I was cool with it . For the atmosphere.

I went to the Flying Squirrel with some friends for drinks. On this night in particular, they were only serving local beers, which was actually pretty cool. I had one of the Winter Warmers, as well as their Apple Spiced Old Fashioned. They make the apple spiced rum themselves, so that was a neat addition, and everyone at my table... More

The Flying Squirrel was recommended to us as a fun, after dinner place to get a drink. We wanted a cool place with great drink options but that wasn't too much of a "party" place. The space is great with a two-sided, inside/outside bar when the weather allows. The drink menu is filled with unique craft cocktails, and the menu... More

My husband and I felt like somewhat outsiders coming into this hip little town. We were immediately greeted with a smiling face and we sat at a table outside which was great because it is heated. Our waiter was awesome. Explained the menu and made us so comfortable. The food was out of this world! It was so good we... More
