I ordered takeout from Jefferson's in early May when half the city was still closed due to the pandemic. You would think with so few customers buying food that they would do a good job preparing each meal. You'd think that, but you'd be wrong....I got a chicken wrap that was the smallest mini-burrito looking thing I've ever seen that barely had any chicken or anything else in it. It was all starch shell. Maybe the equivalent of a single chicken finger if I'm being generous. I paid for a full size $10 wrap and got a $3 snack wrap instead. We also ordered two sides of coleslaw; one for me, and one for my wife. One of the slaws looked and tasted like normal slaw. No problem. The other slaw had a completely different consistency, was soupy, and had a sweet effervescent taste to it, like someone had poured Sprite or 7up into the slaw and mixed it up. How does something like this happen to two sides in the exact same order that was prepared at the same time? Want good American food? This isn't the place. Try Big Chill in Northshore. They have similar style food for lower prices, and their serving portions are massive. Or even Waffle House. Their food is straight up gourmet compared to this trash.More

I love raw oysters but not for that much. Someone needs to revise cost factor. This is the most expensive place in Chattanooga. Buyer beware.

We decided to eat outside on this nice day. Our waitress did a super job of taking our orders and asking us if we needed anything else. All three of our meals were cooked proper with nice portions. There also is a nice fountain acroos...the street.More

I go to Jefferson’s a lot, but some of my favorite visits are right after I get off work. I meet up with friends & family, grab a bite, relax and wind down. The staff is wonderful, the atmosphere is perfect, and you can’t beat...their deals! :)More

It was better a year ago. This time I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap. Way too much sauce! Burgers looked good. Fries were good. Bloody Mary was good. Service was good.

We go there every dance competition because it’s within walking distance of the Walker Theater/Memorial Auditorium and it’s so yummy. Offering all the comfort food you could ever desire.

We had the Jalapino burger (with onion rings) and my friend had the wings with sweet potato fries, while the sweet potato fries were a bit on the soggy side, no complaints about the burger or the rings, and atmosphere and service made up for...any shortcomings.More

The Dining Divas went to lunch today at Jefferson’s Restaurant in downtown Chattanooga. There were 9 of us and we were seated immediately. Our servers Lauren and Rachel were great. They kept everything filled without being asked. They both are great assets to the restaurant....The food was awesome. Very flavorful and well worth the money. Two Divas had burgers and said they were the best they had ever had anywhere. One Diva was disappointed with her chicken because it was tough and dry. We rated it a 4.5 out of 5. Next week the Dining Divas will be going to Jim and Nick’s Community BBQ at Hamilton Place Mall area. Watch for our review.More
