Saw them on Cheap Eats and wanted to try the apple butter cinnamon roll. It was all that!!! The other pastries look delish.

While I was in Chattanooga, I tried the banana-Nutella muffin, blueberry-cream cheese muffin, apple butter cinnamon role, and apple fritter bread. Each of these items was moist and freshly made, which was obvious by the quality of the items. I also really enjoyed their chai latte. The coffee smelled nice, but I'm more of a tea guy. I am hard-pressed... More

We heard the Mean Mug had great coffee and wonderful cinnamon rolls. We were not disappointed. They were out of the cinnamon rolls when we arrived but 15 minutes later, hot out of the oven. Light and airy but the apple butter made them awesome. We couldn’t leave without taking some home with us. If you are in the mood... More

My family and I visited Mean Mug Coffeehouse for the first time on a recent Saturday afternoon. We were downtown and it was too early for dinner so we stopped in for warm drinks on a freezing cold day. It is located on Main street, south of Market street, in the bustling Southside area of downtown Chattanooga. There is free... More

Just a pitstop on our trip. Friendly staff, chill atmosphere, yummy coffee/tea, and delicious panini. Will definitely go again if I am back in Chattanooga!

We went for breakfast Saturday a bit after 8:00. It was crowded, but not awful. The line allowed us time to look at the menu and the goodies in the case. We ordered a scone and a pumpkin sweet roll, and one cup of coffee. The friendly girl asked if we wanted them heated. I asked if she thought they... More

Hey, We're sorry you had a bad experience. I was out of the shop that day but I've spoken to the manager on duty and staff that were all working that day. I have addressed the glove issue and can say it's absolutely unacceptable and very unusual for the staff to work without them. I reminded them to make sure... More

We sat out on the patio with our dog and my husband and I split the Bat (a bacon, egg, avocado sandwich) and the prosciutto biscuit. The food was delicious and the prices were very reasonable. It’s a coffeehouse atmosphere, so not the typical type of place I would spend a significant amount of time, but we thoroughly enjoyed the... More

They have a tasty menu! My husband had a breakfast homemade biscuit with apple bacon and eggs. I had a veggie bowl with grits, sautéed vegetables and a soft boiled egg. Wonderful!

We stopped in on a Saturday, late morning time. The space is long but narrow, and was crowded. It was difficult to figure out who was in line to order and who was waiting for drinks. Once we placed our order - 2 mochas and a chocolate milk, we were told there would be a little bit of a wait.... More

We have added a second register with signs and arrows to help with any long wait times and confusion as to where to order. I'm very sorry you had a long wait... More
