Delicious fried chicken, turnip greens, pinto beans, whole small potatoes in white gravy, potato salad, slaw, pulled pork BBQ, ribs, corn muffins and biscuits, warm peach cobber - all you can eat - while seated at a large table (8-10 people) with strangers who quickly become new friends. Everything is placed on a giant lazy Susan, and the server is... More

Bea's has been a Chattanooga staple since the 60's and is still one of my favorite places to eat. All food is served family style on a lazy susan. They serve fried chicken, boba, potato salad, beans, and top it all off with cobbler. The chicken is some of the best fried chicken around.

Terrific fried chicken! Unfortunately, it gets harder and harder to find good chicken in the South. They still make food with plenty of seasoning. Will keep coming back!

The dining here is unique, but limited. What you see is what you get. There aren't many items available, but what is there is pretty good. However, be prepared to pay a hefty price for that limited buffet before you. For fried chicken that doesn't beat most any chicken place, a few sides, rolls or biscuits, etc., you'll pay about... This is a great buffet-style restaurant, and you don't even have to get up to go to the buffet, because there's a lazy susan at every table that is refreshed by 50's-style dressed waitresses. A delicious and unique place to eat!

First time visit, my wife and I walked in and the first thing I noticed was that we were going to probably have to sit with someone we didn't know. At first I was uncomfortable with that but we decided to give it a try. The food is brought out and set on a large lazy Susan type of set... More

My folks brought me here 30 years ago. I thought the set up was odd and did not love sharing the table or dishes with strangers. Also, the server would take away the bowls of food when they were still mostly full only to return with it. What did they do? Top it off, do they throw away the remains,... More

Love the chicken the best. All dishes served family style and you get what they are serving - no ordering. You sit at a round-about table with others if your group does not fill it. It is very noisy but the service is really friendly and good. Your bowls of food rarely are empty. Really good, old-fashioned country green beans... More

I go here every time I am in Chatt. The fried chicken is always exceptional as is the desert. The bbq is ok as are certain veggies, but focus on the chicken.

I have eaten at Bea's since I was a little kid. It is a great place to take you family or just you and friend for lunch. The old fashioned lazy Susan is a really neat treat. The servers are constantly refreshing and refilling the meats and sides. The chicken is amazing! It is a true southern style meal.

Thank Jeff L
