First time there. Was seated at a large round table. No one asked if we knew how things worked. Just assumed we knew. Waitress was not very friendly and started bringing out food. The chicken was good, everything else's was okay. The food is served on a Lazy Susan that spins around the entire table. Half way through our meal... More

If you love country cooking this is your kind of restaurant. Family style at its best. All the tables have lazy susans in the middle. Fried chicken, ribs, bbq, whole new potatoes, greens, pinto beans, slaw, potato salad and peach cobbler, pickled beats, chow chow and sweet potatoes. They keep it coming until you can't go anymore.

Family owned and operated restaurant. Community seating around a lazy Susan so don't be shocked to be seated with some folks you don't know. Just look at it as an opportunity to meet some new friends. Some of, if not the best fried chicken ever !! Home style vegetables, rolls and cornbread, and for those not faint of heart homemade... Fabulous!! Fabulous!! The food was SO good. Best chicken I have ever had. Loved the lazy Susan in the center of the table. Server was spectacular. Cash only.

Delicious fried chicken, turnip greens, pinto beans, whole small potatoes in white gravy, potato salad, slaw, pulled pork BBQ, ribs, corn muffins and biscuits, warm peach cobber - all you can eat - while seated at a large table (8-10 people) with strangers who quickly become new friends. Everything is placed on a giant lazy Susan, and the server is... More

Bea's has been a Chattanooga staple since the 60's and is still one of my favorite places to eat. All food is served family style on a lazy susan. They serve fried chicken, boba, potato salad, beans, and top it all off with cobbler. The chicken is some of the best fried chicken around.

Terrific fried chicken! Unfortunately, it gets harder and harder to find good chicken in the South. They still make food with plenty of seasoning. Will keep coming back!

The dining here is unique, but limited. What you see is what you get. There aren't many items available, but what is there is pretty good. However, be prepared to pay a hefty price for that limited buffet before you. For fried chicken that doesn't beat most any chicken place, a few sides, rolls or biscuits, etc., you'll pay about...
