A former Taco Truck it is now a sit down restaurant...two sections..usually a table available in one of the sections. Owner is one nice guy...really knows his menu..everything is first class...sauces are excellent as toppers.

This has become our go to place when we want Mexican food. We have been there several times at different times of the day and the food is consistently great.

Very good semi street food. Tacos good. Sopa's good & tamale's good. 3 adults $28 Only drawback was it being 97 degrees outside and no Margritas

When we are planning a get together at lunch...Taqueria Jalisco is always mentioned. We never get tired of this restaurant. Start off with chips & salsa...pick anything on the menu...reasonably priced..plenty of parking...not much ambiance...great food

I´m Mexican. Living here in Chattanooga. I visited this place. The first thing I was looking for were TACOS. The CARNE ASADA tacos I didn´t like them, but CHORIZO and BARBACOA tacos were WONDERFUL!!!!!!!! One detail. The Tortillas they user are from SuperMarket. Not really tortillas, it gave a different and not so good taste to the tacos, but I... More

....about this funky taqueria. Definitely short in ambience, the limited number of tables can present a challenge when busy. The traditional items prepared just like they were made at home. Tasty and very satisfying. I find everything I've had in the menu to be very good. Both the salsas that accompany the food are outstanding with a touch of heat.... More

Hand crafted corn tortillas the best we have ever had. Beef and vegetarian gorditas and tacos, Guacamole and chips were all very good. Loved they had plenty of vegetarian choices. Service is fast and friendly. Prices reasonable. Place is small, but clean. Off the beaten path. We loved it! Will definitely go back if in the area.

Whether it's a quick bite at lunch, or a relaxing dinner, Taqueria Jalisco is a great choice! I've been eating their food for years; back when they were serving from a small portable food trailer. Their Carne Asada tacos hooked me, and their Tortas are the best in town. They have a nice, cozy restaurant now. The staff is friendly,... More

This is a small, restaurant--a few tables inside, more on enclosed patio--that is slightly off the beaten track...and well worth the detour. The Mexican street-style tacos are delightful. The guac is fresh and, although one might be disappointed at the amount of meat filling in a tamal, the masa is tasty and clearly homemade (I recommend the pork version). A... More
