Very busy at Sunday lunch with many people waiting 30 min or more to be seated. We were quickly seated outside along a bench table. We ordered the chicken soup which was very good, but not as big a portion as we get at our local Mexican place at home. We also had a carnitas taco which was very good. Great place, especially if one has kids.

This place was very popular in the downtown of north shore as you can see from the parking lot. It filled with modern and style. The menu has tons of style of Taco. We ordered "$8,99 for 2 tacos with a side" which was a great deal. The taco was fresh and tasty. Our waiter was helpful. Great place for quick fresh eat or a break for a drink.

We were supposed to go to another taco place but reviews weren’t great so I found this place while visiting chatt. It was so worth it. Went at 5 pm the Sunday before Labor Day and got right in for 2. Ordered the mango salsa, passion fruit sangria (that was half off on Sundays), mich ultra and for tacos the hubby got the California club and loved it, he said there was a good kick to it! I ordered the 2 tacos and a side for 10.99. I got the hot chicken and the shrimp poboy blt with the side of Mexican street corn. The corn was amazing and a must to order!! The tacos were awesome. All of them. The roasted chicken was really good on both of ours. A must do again!!! Worth the stop!

This was always a GoToMeeting kind of place for us; quirky ambiance, great service, perfectly delicious food and they always took care of my GF needs for Celiac Disease.
Today however was simply awful! We came in 30 minutes after they opened and before the weekday lunch rush. We were met with smiling faces and seated immediately in the bar area—comfortable and usually pretty quiet. We received a visit from the manager who took our order and then he began an impromptu training session for the bar staff.
He brought our unsweetened ice teas without lemon (they were water/not tea). We couldn’t catch him so I went to the bar and the nice young man apologized (not his fault) & immediately brought two teas—thanks!
A couple were then seated next to us, ordered and their food arrived promptly; 10 minutes later our food arrived?! Both parties had ordered taco plates. Ok, no problem just a couple of glitches.
I tried my side of jalapeño slaw (delicious as usual) & then tried the Memphis tacos; which normally have delicious bbq pork. Mine were cabbage tacos with a tiny drizzle of bbq sauce and one small piece of pork in each taco! My husband ordered the Shrimp tacos and received the same two cabbage tacos with one heavily breaded item which contained tiny shrimp pieces and no sauce.
Pretty awful and incredibly disappointed from one of our (former) favorites!

I find it difficult to articulate how repulsed I am by the service I just received at this restaurant. I'm a doordash driver that showed up to pick up a large order for a customer. Upon arrival the lady at the pickup window said they're still working on the order, took my phone number, and said they'll let me know when it was ready. I was waiting at the bench out front for nearly 30 minutes before a parking space that wasn't clear across the lot opened up and I moved up front. Now it was 40 minutes after my arrival and still not a word about the order. I was in contact with my customer the entire time. Called the restaurant, texted, called again, no answer. When I finally got out of my car in sheer frustration someone, assumably the manager, was walking around on the phone and said he was talking to doordash support since the order had already been picked up. WHAT?! They somehow managed to forget a large two bag take out order being picked up right before I arrived, then told me it was still being prepared, yet didn't bother to say a thing to the guy that gets paid by the job waiting in the parking lot?!? I find it inconceivable that anyone there could be that bad at their job! Then dasher support called me, asked if I wanted to drop the order (so I wouldn't get paid at ALL for my wasted time over the lunch hour!), or if I wanted to complete it after taco mamacita remade the order. I wouldn't stiff my customer like that in the first place. It was just under an hour and a half before they FINALLY brought the order out to me! And all the manager had to offer when I talked to him was excuses, sorry, and the world's tiniest violin. "I don't know what else you want me to do..." This goes beyond unprofessional, past incompetence, and is dancing all over complete and utter disregard for customer satisfaction! The very LEAST he should have done was given a $50 gift card to both me and the customer for wasting both of our precious time. That's the type of job performance that should end in a summary termination. Please, find another Mexican restaurant to patronize after reading this.

Don’t let the location of this restaurant essentially being in a strip mall deter you. We visited on Sunday of Labor Day weekend and the place was busy. Parking was available. All three of us chose tacos. I enjoyed the Memphis taco but it had more slaw than meat and the whole taco seemed smaller in size. I preferred the taco royale because of the blue hard taco shell wrapped with a soft shell. I highly recommend the Mexican street corn. It was delicious! Our server explained that it could be on or off the cob and I chose off. My husband chose the sweet potato fries which were also yummy. When we are back in Chattanooga, we will seek out this restaurant again!

The 2 tacos and a side deal was totally worth it. I got the taco royale and the general homeboy. They were incredible. My sister has a gluten allergy and they noted her allergy and were super careful with her meal. HIGHLY recommend, the staff was very friendly as well!!!

we went there for lunch on Saturday around 1:15 PM. They are a busy joint. but we got lucky and got a table for 4. We had to sit outside though - it was chilly but they have some heaters on outside.
The food is awesome. My wife and I had enchilladas and my son had tacos and side. My daughter had the cheese quesadillas. Everyone really enjoyed their meal and the service was very friendly
Only complaint - they dont have Mexican Cola or Acqa Fresca or Horchata. Wish they had those drinks.

Great Tacos and other Mexican fare. The menu is creative and I had one of the "Steakhouse" Tacos, a brisket with fried onion rings and horseradish.
Anyway, everything here was top notch. Muy bueno!

I recently ate at Taco Mamacita and enjoyed the food. I tried three different tacos including the hot chicken, Baja fish and one other that I can’t remember the name of and they were all really good. The only downfall is that the service was slow.

Horrible. We arrived at 7:45 pm and waited 15 minutes to be seated. We ordered at 8:15 and at 9:00 the food still hadn’t been served. We left. So disappointed. Server told us it would be only a few minutes for the food when he took our order then came back and said four kitchen staff called out. Wasted over an hour of my evening and am still hungry.

I've eaten at Taco Mamacita twice and done takeout three times with varying degrees of success over the past year. In-house dining is definitely better with both portion size and taste. Delivery is more 'hit or miss' for both. The restaurant, itself, has a nice vibe with both indoor and outdoor eating choices. However service can be slow and/or unfriendly.

A decent amount of taco options, but kind of pricey- about $5 per taco. We ended up getting taco bowls that were super filling and full of flavor. Also, the mango salsa was a hit!

We had a great lunch at Taco Mamcita. My husband and I ate here in 2019 when we were passing through Chattanooga. We brought the kids along this trip. They have a great variety of tacos and other menu items. Our food was good - we tried a variety of tacos and the appetizer sampler. I highly recommend the Freakin’ Vegan. Delicious! Great service! Good atmosphere. We’ll be back!

Stopped here after church this morning. They offered only take out and delivery because of the virus. My wife got 2 tacos with street corn. I got the sloppy Joe's nachos with and extra taco. We also got chips and salsa with the order. We have become very comfortable with eating in the truck during this time. Excellent food!
