We read some reviews and decided to lunch here. Waited half hour for a table. From the moment we sat down we became disappointed. Server indifferent ... fried chicken nothing you wouldn't get in a gas station - dry on top of that. Sides lackluster. Drinks empty more than full. Overpriced and if this is the norm the lines won't... More

Wonderful food and service! Dollar bills lining the walls. Excellent fried green tomatoes. We had fried catfish, chicken, tamales, coleslaw, green beans. All was excellent.

They do chicken pretty darn good, but not that much better than plenty of other places. Sides and desserts were okay, but nothing special. Service only so-so, but at least very pleasant. One appetizer, two 3 piece dinners, two deserts, one drink (no alcohol), $44.18 which I think is a little pricy for fried chicken. It is a very different... More

Had to try from all the good reviews. The chicken was good and moist. I enjoyed the atmosphere, it was a little of everything just thrown together. The beans were good and the slaw was excellent. The staff was friendly and pleasant. One of those places you have to try at least once.

Got there at dinner time after some trouble parking. We were seated inside at the last available table. We got some water and I asked the waitress about the wait time for a chicken dinner and she said 20 minutes. So, I ordered an appetizer to tide us over. To tide me over, I guess, because my wife wasn't going... More

Stopped in for a late Sunday lunch. Cute atmosphere, kitschy fun place. Seated at a folding table with warped chair. Wasnt too happy about that but ok. Had chicken, slaw & potato salad. Chicken was delicious! Sides were just ok. Tea was good & server did a good job keeping drinks refilled. All in all, if I were in the... More

The place has, hands down, the best fried chicken around. Great place too hang out for a beer and socialize as well. It does fill up quick, especially for larger groups, so better be ready to wait on a table. The side are great too, and the jalapeño appetizer is really good. A must stop in Chattanooga.

Great fried chicken. Really worth a visit if you are in town. The spice rub on the sausage appetizer was outstanding. The Mississippi mud pie was great as well.
