Very good sushi & hibachi. Great spring roll. Pretty good price. Very clean and plenty of room to sit. The staff was nice also.

Ultra clean and tasy food

We had never visited this restaurant before, and didn't know what to expect. As it turn out, the food was wonderful, as was the service. But what was really amazing was the quality of the premises. It is hard to imagine a cleaner and more attractive dining environment.

The food is plentiful but a bit bland to me. Still better than most other places around the area so we go back. My wife really likes it better than me so it could be just the need for more spice.

Always on the lookout for a new place to find good sushi

Ordered the sushi lunch special, was slightly disappointed in the portion received and for the price of the so called lunch special. Sushi was satisfactory to our liking.

Great service and sushi!

This place is a hidden gem! The service was great. I had the shrimp tempura sushi and the dumplings. Both were extremely good. Portion sizes are a little small on appetizers but large on the hibachi dishes. My only complaint is the smell from the nail salon next door. Their chemical smell has seeped info this restaurant and the smell is extremely strong.

Great sushi - worth the trip.

Kumo is very consistent, especially with their sushi. Their sushi options are creative and always fresh - we enjoy going there for the food and their nice casual atmosphere. We've looked to other places for sushi just for a change of pace, but always wind up coming back here.

Lunch With Family...Trying A New Restaurant

Several friends stated Kumo had the best Sushi in town...very extensive menu..variety of lunch & dinner specials...restaurant was rather dark...very good service with knowledgeable wait staff...just another good Sushi choice in Brainerd area

Japanese for Fathers Day

It was early in the evening and it was quiet. Welcomed into the restaurant by the staff behind the sushi counter and shown to our table by our waiter. First impressions were very good, clean place and polite staff. The menu was extensive but not huge or daunting. Good selection of appetizers and entree's as well as simple selections for the kids. The food was very good and well presented as well as being tasty. We will definitely be back for more. Thanks to all for a great dining experience!!

Great Sushi

Needed a quick lunch before a flight so we were going to pick up sandwiches at the Firehouse Subs, but decided we had time for a sitdown meal and Kumo was right there. The sushi was fresh and well presented. Excellent service and reasonable prices. My dining partner had the steak and shrimp and said it was excellent. Great lunch stop.

Great Sushi!

We found Kumo on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. Shared edamame, fried dumplings, spider roll, Phoenix roll, Samurai roll, and Crazy Tuna roll. The sushi was phenomenal and the apps were just as good. Highly recommend the Crazy Tuna roll!! There were three of us and we were all stuffed when we left. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Service was exceptional and price was reasonable. Will definitely go back if we are in the area again.

Great Dinner

My husband and I had been traveling all day and we wanted to eat a normal dinner. We thought that we would try Kumo and we were not disappointed. The staff was amazing. The sushi was amazing. My husband had the super white roll and he is still talking about it this morning. We also had California rolls, Avocado Roll, Cucumber Roll, and a spicy crab roll. All were made fresh and were amazing. We wished we were staying longer so we could go back again. We both highly recommend that you eat here.
