Honestly we only chose this place because it was right across the street and the building was cool. But then found ourselves surprised by the food and beer. Entered expecting typical bar food. Well, it is bar food but not typical. Each of us had...a Terminal on tap pint of White Shadow. Full flavored but not heavy, perfect beer for with lunch and after our 2 mile wander on that morning. Then I ordered the Frou Frou sandwich with a side of Chuck Norris Slaw and my companion had the Black bean Burger with a side of sweet potato fries. I totally expected the chicken on my sandwich to be one of those breasts pumped full of broth and then grill marked and frozen for restaurant service. This one was a fresh cut boneless breast perfectly grilled with not just the marks but also the flavor of the grill. Served on a soft fresh bun with melted brie, bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomato and onion it was probably the biggest surprise of our trip. As a side choice I got the Chuck Norris Slaw. Honestly, I might simply have ordered it for the name, but when the server told me it was made with slices of fresh jalepeno the choice was a no brainer. Perfect offset to my sandwich. My companion enjoyed her black bean burger as well. Our only gripe would be that we asked 3 times for salt and never got it. No big deal in the end, just made our lunch a tiny bit healthier.More

So this is a mixed review. We were there on a Friday night. Husband, myself, young adult, teen and preteen. The bad first.... most of the customers were extremely obnoxious, borderline rude. trashed and just messed up the entire experience. There was a large group...of them, college kids for a birthday with what appeared to be their grandparents. There should be a way to tell these people they are cut off when it gets to this level of disruption. The good... because there was plenty of it. Our waiter was amazing. The food was the best we had in Chattanooga and the total bill for five large eaters was fantastic. We will for sure make this a regular stop whenever we come to visit, the service and food was just that good. Just maybe not go on a Friday night after 6:00.More

We stopped in to try the beers and grab a snack. We got the pizza rolls, which were very good. We got a flight of beer that included the 7 beers on tap. They had a good variety, which is nice because my husband loves...porters and not many places offer that.More

We chose to try this restaurant over others in the same area. Once seated, we were not taken care of. Not even for a drink order. 15 minutes passed and a family of 6 were seated next to us and immediately attended to. We obviously...did not stay. If it didn’t start good it would not have ended well either. Cannot attest to the food since we left, but agree with other posters- place seems a bit dirty and menus were crusty.More

We visited for Sunday lunch in July 2021. I live in Chattanooga but have not visited the restaurant in several years. Let me tell you, it’s not what it used to be. The entry doors were very dirty and menus were crusted and sticky with...food. The host seated us on the second floor. The second floor smelled horrible and jt was probably 10 degrees hotter than the 1st level. We walked down stairs and asked to be seated on the first floor due to the smell and temp. The staff were very nice and accommodating. However things went south from there. The ladies restroom was out of all paper products (tp and paper towels). We told 2 of the male employees and no one acted on it. On my second trip to the bathroom (confirmed paper products were not replenished from when we asked the first time 25-30 mins prior) I noticed drinks were melting on the bar (waiting to be served at tables) while employees were standing around chatting. The ticket time for two sandwiches was 40 minutes, and the restaurant was vacant. The food was awful. Meatloaf sandwich was chewy and bacon grits were dry and appeared to be a few days old. I was disappointed to see a Chattanooga icon fall from grace. Dirty doors and menus, women’s restrooms need paper products, period - there’s no excuse for this, stinky odors, and crap food. All while 3-5 employees were standing around, not doing anything, at any given moment. Such a shame.More

Love this place. They have taken ordinary food and made it extraordinary! The menu description of each menu item is wonderful. I will always make it a point to eat at Terminal Brewhouse when in Chattanooga!

So 2 people didn’t get with they ordered at my table and one of my members burgers was not good or cooked. They blamed it on the rain but I’m bot sure how the weather affects the kitchen. So you can give it a try...but I wouldn’t recommend it.More

I read all the reviews before my husband and I ate there. Seems like the only problems were server issues or busy times. We experienced NONE of those problems on our visit. Our visit was a Wednesday night, not busy. We had a fantastic meal...that I am happy to recommend to others. We are vegetarians so cannot comment on the barbecue or burgers.. My husband ordered Dirty Hippie, a large sandwich stuff with all kinds of fresh veggies with melted provolone. It was excellent although a little messy to pick up. I ordered the Brewhouse Salad with grilled salmon and it was the best salmon of all the restaurants in Chattanooga that we tried! Grilled perfectly. And I ordered salmon at all of them! Salad and salmon is my go-to meal. We also ordered an Oatmeal Stout, which was on tap, and recommended it too. Definitely worth a visit! We would eat here again on our next visit to Chattanooga.More

We walked from the DT Marriott and sat at the bar and each had the Pilsner. I am a Coors Light fan and I really liked the Pilsner (no after taste and light). I had the Margherita pizza and it was fantastic. The dough is...a little thicker, but the flavor is what did it for me! We may go back today! My husband had the Bison Meatloaf sandwich and he said he'd get it again. It looks small when you get it, but it will definitely fill you up!More

Park in the gravel parking log behind the restaurant. Drive in between the Brew House and the choo choo, you'll see the lot there.
