Do not drive by this unassuming building without stopping in for food! I have visited multiple times and continue to be blown away by the quality of the food and service. Favorite menu items from our group included Granny G panini, burgers, Full Monty sandwich,...and fish tacos. As an added bonus, the $2 Drifter Draft was a perfect pairing to our lunch.More

Smoked wings…are you KIDDING me? Awesome!! Great selection of food. Menu is well managed and there’s something here for every eater. (Even your hippy vegan niece.) Military discount. Family atmosphere. COME HERE!

Family came in from out of town and wanted to go some place local that was not a chain. As always service was spot on and food was outstanding. My family from out of town want to come back again next time they are in...town. It was last minute set up and there were 11 people in our party. They were quick to accommodate us and our waitress was the best. She kept the drinks full, and kept asking if there was anything else she could bring us. Spoke with the cook afterwards to let him know that everything we had was spot on. Will most definitely be going back again and would highly recommend this place.More

Great food and service. I can’t wait to go back to try out other menu items. We have had their burgers, Hot Italian and Rubin. These along with great draft beers made it a wonderful lunch experience.

Non-Pretentious type of place, come as you are. Think of Toby Keith’s song, ‘I Love This Bar’ and you get the idea of the clientele. Good food, great service, fair prices...and good draft beer fir $3!!!

We looked this place up for a Saturday drive and dine and were not disappointed. The waitress was extra pleasant along with the atmosphere. It’s easy to see this is a local hangout. My only disappointment was that they were out of French fries and...had to substitute tots.More

Most of the reviews here are about the restaurant. My gf and i did visit the restaurant for lunch, which was amazing and as good as the reviews say it is, but we mainly came for some convenient kayaking in the Chattanooga area. The atmosphere...here is so cool! Laid-back and friendly. It seems many locals hang out here, which is a testament to the fun environment and the great food. We rented kayaks and paddled on the Tennessee river just across the street. The outfitter did a great job in setting us up and the price was reasonable. Pee-Wee was quite the character: charming, friendly, and informative. Be sure to tip these guys if you rent kayaks from them! The kayaking was quite easy and there were a lot of nice views to be found on the river. Definitely recommend this for families and couples.More

We really enjoyed the burgers here! I’m looking forward to trying the rest of the menu. We sat outside and enjoyed the scenery. Our server was friendly and fast. It’s worth the drive out to River drifters, but really not that far from downtown.

Not sure how good was We walked in and sat down and were ignored by waitress We then were entertained by a loud foul mouthed drunk dropping f-bombs for the whole place to hear. Decided to leave and wont be back.

this was our second visit. The shrimp cocktail was delicious! this place is across the street from the Tennessee river in suck creek. Nice views, friendly staff, they also rent Kayaks. Good beer selection. Also ordered the Whiskey River Ruben and the Big Cubano -...both were fantastic. Will definitely return and continue to explore the menu. Lots to choose from! They also have a kids menu to order from.More

We just ate the best lunch at River Drifters. I had the bacon drifter burger that was seasoned and grilled to perfection. My husband had the buffalo chicken sub and he really enjoyed it as well. The fries were so unique and delicious. We are...so glad we drove eight minutes from downtown and didn't have to pay for parking. The service and atmosphere were great. We can't wait to go back and go kayaking.More

Best Reuben in town. I love the Russian dressing. Great twist on fries. Great apps: coconut shrimp, pretzel twists, pimento cheese on crostini. So also love the fish sandwich. Good selection of drinks. Owners are incredibly personable.

Staff very friendly. food was ok. I had the salad but nothing fancy. Used iceberg lettuce which is not the description of the salad. Overly priced.

River Drifters is a local restaurant and watering hole on the TN river at the base of Signal Mtn. Food is great and large portions. Good regular crowd and entertainment on weekends. Patio is covered with view of river. Always cycles going by in nice...weather. Worth a relaxing lunch or dinner and brews! Good value and southern charm.More
