Walking distance from the Choo Choo: So worth it! Food is so good and the service is awesome. Relaxing night with friends. I suggest making reservations. Great place for a special occasion, with a group, or a few friends...a must when we visit!!!

You have to try the Edamame Salad; it is divine! Ample portions and the wait staff were very attentive. Can't wait to return!

Service was prompt, kind, and accurate. Our waitress was helpful when we had particular questions about the menu. And the food was delightful. There was so much flavor to take in. And the interior is fabulous. Definitely love the mural.

Although this restaurant has been open for about 9 years, it's my first visit, and definitely not my last! The atmosphere is well oriented to multiple experience types. Shorts and polo to Shirt and tie. Ambience was perfect. Service ranked as some of the best I've had anywhere. I started with the heirloom tomato salad. Simple and mouth watering. My... More

One of the best places for a date night meal in the city. The interior decor is rustic, and cozy. The food is well worth the price they're charging, and tasty to boot. Service is also the quickest I've ever experienced at a restaurant. The menu, albeit difficult to read with no knowledge of Italian, is nothing but quality. The... More

My family of 4 ate here recently while in Chattanooga. Street parking was available, but full thus we took advantage of the valet parking. We had reservations and were seated immediately. The interior decor is stunning and the ambiance is very nice. We split a pizza as an appetizer and it was good. I had the bolognese pasta for my... More

Greeting was great and cocktails good quality (if a tad expensive) but try and get a cab home and that's a different matter. Ask the receptionist and she will refer you to the valet parking. Ask them and they refer you back to reception and best they can offer is they will get you a telephone number. After spending $25... More

Thoughts of opening an additional concept in the southside of chattanooga stirred in 2004. chef lindley wanted to explore true rustic italian, but incorporate regional flavor. exceptional ingredients imported from italy and quality produce delivered from local farms make this vision a reality. situated in chattanooga's rejuvenated southside neighborhood, alleia resides in the old harrington building. the fulfillment of chef daniel lindley's dream of offering simple, italian inspired cuisine opened its doors in april 2009. chef lindley's latest venture is a unique interpretation of rustic italian cuisine, using local ingredients to create an evolving menu. alleia boasts seven types of house made pasta and a custom brick oven that reaches 750 degrees for pizza making. remarkably designed by rodney simmons of revival studio, alleia captures the warmth and comfort of a traditional trattoria, while breaking new ground in present-day restaurant design. trimmed in 300 year old wood taken from the harrington building, the space can seat 150, including a striking communal table that seats 32. the porch at alleia marries the best of al fresco and indoor dining. featuring a generous wraparound banquette, climbing jasmine and views of lookout mountain, the porch provides reprieve from the bustle of the southside. please enjoy.
