Ok you all the food was exceptional loaded with flavor but we had an older waitress her service was great until...she reached her bare hand into our chips to pull out something burnt. You don't do that!!!! Period!!! Replace the chips don't put your bare...hand in my chips!!!More

Only had to wait a few minutes for a table for 2 on a Saturday night so that was good. We got a drink at the bar first and it was amazing! The bartender know his stuff and recommended some drinks - smoky old fashioned...and the basil margarita. Both were incredible! Food was authentic with a twist. My husband had the Pollo Relleno which he thought was good but did not like the cabbage/beet salad as it was too bitter. I had the chicken soup with rice and it was delicious! They should add more sound absorbing stuff as there was a table of 15 who were really loud and it echoed in the whole place. Other than that everything was good. We'll be back to try other items.More

We drove from Canton, Ga for a get-away. Our hotel was conveniently located across the street from our hotel. We were parked in the hotel deck, but there is ample street parking surrounding this facility with free parking on Sunday! Family joined us with their...two kids. We were seated after about a 10-15 minute wait. Our server promptly greeted us, and took our drink requests. It didn't take long since we all had water. We were served chips and salsa. The salsa was not runny and was My tilapia fish tacos were beer battered, topped with cabbaged slaw and served with a side of charro beans. My husband ordered steak quesadilla which came with rice, black beans, guacamole, sours cream, lettuce and tomato. The other family had the same quesadilla order except with chicken. Note: We were a little bummed as originally we wanted to order Cuban sandwiches, but they are only offered Monday thru Friday. However, the company was fun and food was good. The restaurant does have a smaller wait area, but otherwise spacious. Bathrooms were clean. Like most places, it was not fully staffed on our visit....guess we lucked out with our server as he didn't miss a beat with our needs and our glasses never were empty. I recommend this Latin American restaurant and hope you enjoy your experience as we did.More

I loved the Jamaica drink!! Larry was our server and was also great!! The steak was tough and hard to chew. Had great flavor but not easy to chew. Potatoes and vegetables were good. The Ham, bean curry was great!! Not a place I'd recommend...to my friends and family.More

This place is authentically fantastic. Great food served in a great atmosphere. The wait staff is so friendly and willing to answer any and all questions concerning the menu. This is also a tequila bar with names of tequila I have never heard before. I...had the Passion Fruit Mojito. So good and refreshing.More

We read other readers remarks and felt for the most part is was good food. Our visit was excellent the salsa is different but the flavors is what sets it apart. My husband had three bowls(I know). The service was very good , and the...food came out hot and had it within 10 minutes of ordering. When we come back to visit we will definitely eat there again. Give it a tryMore

I stayed at the near-by Hampton. The front desk suggested a Brazilian steak house, but it crowded. I walking over to the Mayan and found it not to busy. Sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive. Good beers on tap plus killer selection...of Tequila. I had the garlic shrimp and fried plantains. A good dish, wished the plantains had more flavor. Chips & salsa were decent too. Super fast service, was appreciated. Nice décor. I would recommend stopping in.More

Oh so good. The salsa was good. The margaritas were different but good. One kid got beef tacos and ate them so quickly no one else got to try them. The other kid got a brisket chimichanga and before he was done he said he...wanted to come back again before we left town. I couldn’t choose between a chicken and shrimp dish and asked the waitress who said to get the shrimp: camarones en cream de ajo. It was good other than having to take the tails off, my one complaint since it was messy covered in cream sauce and really hot when it first came out. Hubby got arrachera which he said had good flavor but wasn’t a good cut of meat. The pablano cheese that came with it was a hit.More

Mexican restaurant in downtown Chattanooga. Typical choices like tacos or fajitas, but also some interesting dishes like snapper. Beautiful decor inside.

My husband and I were looking for a restaurant that wasn’t a chain and decided to go in Mayan Kitchen. Great meal! Good drinks! Good service! Good atmosphere! Reasonably priced❤️ Good find in an area of chain restaurants.

We ate inside. I don’t recall outdoor seating, which is always my husband’s preference; however, we were there in July and it was very HOT!

I am super late to answer this, better late than never. Right? I hardly ever have to wait around that time frame. I would say you would be fine.
