To be clear the location is beautiful and food excellent. Good onion rings! However, (see photo) we felt not mislead, but unleaded, after ordering one Bloody Mary the bill displayed a charge for the drink but also additional charge for vodka. We feel this should...have been made clear in advance. In fact, I do not know that we received Titos at all. This does not pass the smell test.More

Arrived at 845pm Saturday and I was promptly informed that I needed to be gone by 10pm - no exceptions. Waitress also informed me that bar would close by 930pm - no exceptions. These guys want to go home. Service reflects this...Table wet when I...sat down and waitress seemed perturbed that I would expect it to be dry. Ordered soup and salad and cocktail. Still wondering why we pay these prices in Nashville for poor service and avg food. Note - this is an upscale chain restaurant....I will say that I received better service in West TN at same named restaurant in East Memphis area. This restaurant has nice decor for avg service and food...but nothing outstanding regarding food or service...so take note. If you open for C-19 service to the public, why not strive for good service and quality food? Business during C-19 is a luxury and I would think businesses feel fortunate they are allowed to make profit during this uncertain time. Stay closed if working is a hassle or wait staff wants to go home.More

I first came across this Firebird when being introduced to new colleagues - as it's right between a couple of office buildings (though also in a residential area). Everyone in my office seemed to have Firebirds as their 'first choice' place for lunch (and, for...some, dinner with their spouse). I'm not really a sandwich person though so I didn't find the lunch sandwiches that great my first time out - but I think I was just in that 'first work day' stress mode! Then a couple of months' in and I was responsible for catering some serious lunches for corporate big-wigs and I was hugely disappointed with some of the local competitors who were overpriced and who provided what I thought were the equivalent of Subway. I walked into Firebirds for a quick chat, just to find they also do Catering! And what a find that was! The manager and staff bent over backwards to accommodate all sorts of requests and have since provided a series of delicious lunches with soups, hot pastas, salads, sides and sandwiches that other places really can't compete with in terms of quality - yet for the same price. They even will pitch in with delivery and the cutlery. This included freshly cut and shaved beef, thick ham, a last-minute salmon for a vegetarian executive with full sides, various coleslaws and other sides and the most DELICIOUS vegetarian hot pasta I've eaten in years. Organizing another, more formal, large lunch at the restaurant - the manager really worked with me to find the right place in the restaurant for the vibe and number of people and, on the day, even went over and above the meal choices to provide an even greater selection than those budgeted for. All of the group were impressed - even me - and I'm a 100% solid gold foodie whose husband hates taking her out for dinner anywhere because she's just too demanding (huh)! I strongly recommend Firebirds for anyone who wants to wow a serious work clientele for a catered lunch or dinner. Personally - I've got my eye on that pineapple infused vodka which sits at the bar and looks at everyone....that's on the next trip back to the office after Covid! I haven't been in for dinner - but the restaurant has various areas to it that seem cleverly walled and separated out - so I think that it suits both the after-work martini crowd as well as those who want a quiet and calm dinner. People I know who have had the meatloaf rave about it and even though I'm not a salmon-lover, the salmon I had was wonderful. Thank you!More

I have become a great fan of Firebirds but today was the first time for my wife. They came through again! The salad was fresh, perfectly sized and a value at $5 for side size. I love jicama and their salad is full of it....The blue cheese presentation is light but excellent in taste. My wife had the steak sandwich and perfectly steamed broccoli with melted butter. She was very happy. I have to celebrate a bit the 7 oz sirloin entree with their signature homemade peppercorn sauce. This steak was perfectly cooked to order, sliced and just the right amount of the sauce which is simply put addictive. The French fries are steak sized and perfectly seasoned. This was an excellent meal, served warmly and professionally by our server. The atmosphere is perfect as well. Go for it!More

We are spending the night in Brentwood and came to Firebird Wood Grill for our evening meal. We got the coconut shrimp appetizer and it was amazing!!! We chose the garden salad with the cilantro lime vinegarette, also amazing. We each followed this with a...ribeye. Mine was a perfect med rare, his medium was a bit dry but the flavor was great. I had the green beans with pecans he had the fresh veges. The service was great! Spencer was our server and he was surpurb. Great atmosphere.More

It’s always good to experience good food and service at a restaurant. The experience is better when the restaurant staff treats you like a friend. We had all of the above at Firebirds. Give Firebirds a try—great place.

We visited Firebirds ( for the second time during our trip from England/France ) late last night on the way back from the Grand Ole Oprey. Our late arrival was no problem for them and we were once again welcomed with a smile. We ordered...the Pineapple Chicken and Grilled Salmon Salad which were absolutely amazing! The Head of House and our waitress ( a beautiful young blonde girl ) were so friendly and helpful - Firebirds they are a credit to your restaurant ! This is a really good place to eat with wonderful food and a lovely ambience - try it you won’t be disappointed!More

This used to be our favorite restaurant. My husband and I dine at or get take out at least a couple times a month. The past few times we've gotten take out, items have been missing from our order. Last time, my Colorado Chicken salad...had no chicken. Our most recent order of two Smokehouse Burgers had one burger missing the red onion and the other missing cheese in addition to the red onion. There was no butter or sour cream included for the loaded baked potato. Also, we are not able to use our gift cards on take outt orders because the website does not recognize them as being valid, even though the balance checker site does.More
