We had eaten at this restaurant during summer of 2015 when travelling through area. Really enjoyed our food on that visit but not as much this time around. We ordered a seafood platter that the waiter said would easily feed two people as it was huge. It did have some fried fillets of catfish and another fish and a very... More

The building itself is gorgeous and a must see. The food was good and the prices reasonable. Our server should have been better educated on the menu but she was very pleasant.

Kind of dark and certainly overpriced for lunch. Turkey sandwich, cottage cheese and coke for $15.00

I had the Field and Stream special, quail and trout. The quail was nice but the trout was flavorless. The coleslaw was ok and the mashed potatoes were the same. I'm sure the burgers and steaks are very good, that does seem to be the focus of the restaurant. Service was fine, the waiter kept up nicely with drinks. I'd... More

Most people are amazed when they walk in to the Sportsman Grille for the first time. It feels as if you've been transplanted 4 hours east, into a remote part of the Smoky Mountains. Wood burning fireplaces abound, with antler chandeliers and vaulted natural wood ceilings. The owners did a spectacular job creating this environment in the heart of suburbia.... More

Still a good place to eat. Food good, interesting décor. Service was slow and they were out of pecan pie!

I liked the warm atmosphere. The food was just okay. I had fried catfish and it was greasy. I did not finish it. Other dishes at the table looked much better. I will be back. Just won't be having anything fried.

We found the Sportsman Grill in Hillsborugh Village while trying to avoid the SEC Tournament crowds on Broadway and downtown. We got seated quickly. Great ambiance. Service was attentive, but not rushed. Food was excellent-tasty, hot and fresh. My wife and I had two of the evening specials-Grouper and Catfish Basket; Nashville Hot Chicken. Both were excelent and below $12.... More
