Not my favorite Thai place. The massaman Curry was not very good. The potatoes were not cooked fully which I find often the case at most restaurants. The place was so busy and they were understaffed.

We had a 9 piece sashimi plate and it was very fresh and delicious. It was a good starter to the Thai eggplant dish and noodle dish that we had. Go early since this place is popular.

Large varied menu. The Pad Thai was good and the Crab Rangoon was excellent. Was a good takeout meal!

Excellent all the way through! We started with a steamed dumpling appetizer. It was expensive at eight dollars for only four small pieces but it has great flavor. Then we had the rainbow roll for the table and it was fresh and good. My son...had two sushi rolls the samurai and the lady in red. They disappeared quickly so that was a good sign! Husband had the basil fried rice and said it was some of the best he’s ever had. I had the pad see ewe and it had great flavors and was a generous portion. No drinks, total bill = $86 plus tip. It was very yummy and I would definitely recommend that you check it out!More

I'm a foodie. I'll admit it. I don't care about decor but I care about cleanliness and good, clean, tasty food. I'd tried a couple of other sushi places in the area and they were awful so I investigated and found Jasmine. We've been now...maybe 10 times in the past 9 months since being in the area temporarily. The first time was 4.30 on a Friday and I couldn't BELIEVE the amount of people crowding into this little teeny 'storefront' in the most unassuming strip mall. We followed them in. It's a dark and pretty 'blah' interior with some low-seated bench areas to the right, a main dining room to the front and left and and an open sushi bar area where you can see the sushi being prepared for you. On the first occasion I was blown away - by far the best sushi for the local area - it was simple, fresh and not the 'drizzle everything on it then deep fry with avocado and cream cheese' that so many of the local sushi restaurants believe are what sushi-lovers like! We also ordered the shrimp tempura (delicious) and several of the fried rice dishes. I like heat and basil so the basil fried rice was a no-brainer for me. It was wonderful. My husband loves pad thai and he thought that was great too. We've been back several times and I've ventured away from the sushi and basil rice to the regular entree menu but always have gone back to the staples that I like which were wonderful. Except for the last three meals. Given the Covid-19 situation we've ordered for pickup and each time my usual meals have made me really unwell in the bathroom. I honestly have no idea why or what ingredient could have caused me to react. Our older son confessed he really didn't like his first two of his two last meals - both of which were Chicken Fried Rice - but he still ate all of it and managed well! I'm not sure whether some ingredients are sitting and spices are being unused due to trade and what we are all going through right now - so I want to give Jasmine the benefit of the doubt - but 3 out of 3 recently - firstly with sushi, then my regular Basil/Chicken - it just doesn't bode well. I really, really, wanted to rave about the place and previously for food it was always great with some servers being excellent and some just 'so so' - but you can get that anywhere. However I really am going to give it a while before we go back so that they can get things back in order. The competion in the area is awful - so I really hope that whatever the hiccup was, they can rectify it.More

Jasmine is in an unassuming stripmall location next to a Michael's and a Guitar Center. It has a warm interior with deep square tables with bench and pillow seating that is comfortable for a large family. We've eaten at the sushi bar a few times,...but you may find it cramped as the counter isn't very wide. It was fine a couple that wants to beat the line at the door. Speaking of the line, you must EITHER before 4PM to make a reservation OR arrive before 6PM. It isn't a place that you need reservations well in advance (similar to most asian restaurants) it's just a suggestion to beat the wait at the door. If you think you'll glide into a table after 6, you're joking. As soon as the restaurant fills up, they won't take reservations for the same night. Also, it's really uncomfortable waiting as there really isn't space for more than about 6 people to wait. There are also togo orders coming in and out. But the PAD THAI is awesome. I like it about a 3/4 heat and it usually is spot on. If you ask for the pepper condiment caddy, the added pickled peppers are delicious. The rest of fam likes the Tuna Bowl. NOT the SPICY TUNA BOWL. It's a deconstructed tuna roll nicely arranged in a bowl. They rave for it.More

Four visits in two weeks. On the first visit I was guided by my daughter, who knows more about Thai food than I do, and I selected the steamed seafood with red curry. It arrived wrapped in aluminum foil. The dish included Shrimp, scallops, squid,...and clams. The broth was absolutely delicious and I serve the whole thing over a generous portion of white rice. The serving is quite large and was enough for me to take home a second meal. On my second visit I went by myself because I was intrigued by their offering of a Thai seafood salad. It arrived on a relatively small plate and consisted of shrimp, scallops, and squid and was accompanied by a mild sweet and sour dressing called Thai dressing. Served over a modest portion of mixed greens, it made a very nice light lunch with a distinctive Thai flavor. The portion was modest but adequate for a light lunch. Visit number three was again with my daughter and I enjoyed the pad Thai entrée. It had a nice tie flavor, but I found it somewhat dry. My daughter ordered sushi and octopus. On my fourth visit I was accompanied by a friend who had never experienced Thai food. He ordered the steamed seafood but was unimpressed. I ordered the American dragon roll which I found delightful and very flavorful. I normally find the sushi all seems to taste the same, but my daughter told me that that depends largely on the quality of the ingredients. She says that often times imitation crab is used. This time apparently the ingredients for all the real thing and included some eels and roe. The atmosphere is pleasant. Located in a strip shopping center anchored by a grocery store on one end and a Lowe’s hardware on the other, parking is very convenient. The decor is simple but clean and modern. While the floor is carpeted, the walls are brick and when the restaurant fills up, as it does quickly at lunch, it can be quite noisy but not overwhelming. On my solo visit I was fortunate to sit way in the back where I could observe the sushi chefs preparing their entrées. It was fascinating to watch how they assembled the various roles with skill and speed. Overall this is a very good choice for Thai and sushi meals. It is family friendly and handicap accessible.More

Never disappoints. Have been here for lunch several times. This time the service was not great but they were really busy on this Saturday and the food was great. Basil fried rice is a favorite. Noodle dishes are all good.
