I have been to good This restaurants. This was not one of them. The service and the food were equally bad. The only standout was the Thai iced coffee. The Crab Rangoon was that close to being burned and we were surprised that the waitress...served it. It was dry, hard, and left a scorched taste. Why we didn't send it back I don't know expect that we thought we'd get a pushback from out waitress who seemed bored and angry with having to do her job. All the waitresses were that way not just ours. The Pad Thai was a gluey white glob and instead of single strands of noddles was an overcooked ball with little sauce although the chicken was good as it was Chicken Pad Thai. The skewered curry chicken was not overcooked but other than a brush of curry sauce not particularly flavorful although impressively displayed on skewers. The vegetable filled bell pepper that accompanied the skewered chicken was barely done and barely warm. This was an all around disappointment and cannot recommend it.More

I had been shopping with my son and every store was cold. When we entered the restaurant it was the coldest yet. I've been a server and know that it can be tough working when it's too warm and having customers complain that it's cold....But I couldn't help it, I did mention how cold it was and never asked that it be turned down/off. I couldn't believe it - they did and the room stayed coolish but was not unbearable. Food was great, portions large enough for my adult son and for me to take some for dinner. Would go again if I lived closer.More

I’ve been going to Jazmin since I moved here 20 years ago. Family ran it for a long time the same people work there forever. The food was always good consistent and they were lovely people However, it seems that someone else is running the...restaurant now the service has been questionable items that I’ve been ordering for years. They cut in half and are not as good when I say cut in half it’s like half the amount. I just find the food is inconsistent now, and the atmosphere, and the servers are not nearly as pleasantMore

When you enter a restaurant and it’s packed, that means either the food is great or the are giving it away for free. They were charging, but it was well worth the price. My non-sushi eating wife loved her chicken rice soup and Tennessee fried...rice. I had the sashimi. We were both impressed with the quality of the food. Wish I lived closer to Nashville, so I could return on a regular basis.More

I would have given this restaurant (especially in times past) a 4 or even a 5, however as is the theme with many restaurants these days, pricing and portion sizes (including quality of food) has trended down. My favorite dish is the Crispy Chicken in...Tamarind Sauce and this used to consist of 2 healthy sized portion of chicken breast along with ample portions of vegetables & rice. Lately the chicken portions are quite small (and thin) & the amount of vegetables has been reduced as well. (and when ordering carry out portion size & quality vary even more). Upon our last visit, we were charged $15 per dish for when the menu stated $13. Anyway, overall still a place worth visiting for Thai, just not what it used to be.More

Not my favorite Thai place. The massaman Curry was not very good. The potatoes were not cooked fully which I find often the case at most restaurants. The place was so busy and they were understaffed.

We had a 9 piece sashimi plate and it was very fresh and delicious. It was a good starter to the Thai eggplant dish and noodle dish that we had. Go early since this place is popular.

Excellent all the way through! We started with a steamed dumpling appetizer. It was expensive at eight dollars for only four small pieces but it has great flavor. Then we had the rainbow roll for the table and it was fresh and good. My son...had two sushi rolls the samurai and the lady in red. They disappeared quickly so that was a good sign! Husband had the basil fried rice and said it was some of the best he’s ever had. I had the pad see ewe and it had great flavors and was a generous portion. No drinks, total bill = $86 plus tip. It was very yummy and I would definitely recommend that you check it out!More

I'm a foodie. I'll admit it. I don't care about decor but I care about cleanliness and good, clean, tasty food. I'd tried a couple of other sushi places in the area and they were awful so I investigated and found Jasmine. We've been now...maybe 10 times in the past 9 months since being in the area temporarily. The first time was 4.30 on a Friday and I couldn't BELIEVE the amount of people crowding into this little teeny 'storefront' in the most unassuming strip mall. We followed them in. It's a dark and pretty 'blah' interior with some low-seated bench areas to the right, a main dining room to the front and left and and an open sushi bar area where you can see the sushi being prepared for you. On the first occasion I was blown away - by far the best sushi for the local area - it was simple, fresh and not the 'drizzle everything on it then deep fry with avocado and cream cheese' that so many of the local sushi restaurants believe are what sushi-lovers like! We also ordered the shrimp tempura (delicious) and several of the fried rice dishes. I like heat and basil so the basil fried rice was a no-brainer for me. It was wonderful. My husband loves pad thai and he thought that was great too. We've been back several times and I've ventured away from the sushi and basil rice to the regular entree menu but always have gone back to the staples that I like which were wonderful. Except for the last three meals. Given the Covid-19 situation we've ordered for pickup and each time my usual meals have made me really unwell in the bathroom. I honestly have no idea why or what ingredient could have caused me to react. Our older son confessed he really didn't like his first two of his two last meals - both of which were Chicken Fried Rice - but he still ate all of it and managed well! I'm not sure whether some ingredients are sitting and spices are being unused due to trade and what we are all going through right now - so I want to give Jasmine the benefit of the doubt - but 3 out of 3 recently - firstly with sushi, then my regular Basil/Chicken - it just doesn't bode well. I really, really, wanted to rave about the place and previously for food it was always great with some servers being excellent and some just 'so so' - but you can get that anywhere. However I really am going to give it a while before we go back so that they can get things back in order. The competion in the area is awful - so I really hope that whatever the hiccup was, they can rectify it.More

Jasmine is in an unassuming stripmall location next to a Michael's and a Guitar Center. It has a warm interior with deep square tables with bench and pillow seating that is comfortable for a large family. We've eaten at the sushi bar a few times,...but you may find it cramped as the counter isn't very wide. It was fine a couple that wants to beat the line at the door. Speaking of the line, you must EITHER before 4PM to make a reservation OR arrive before 6PM. It isn't a place that you need reservations well in advance (similar to most asian restaurants) it's just a suggestion to beat the wait at the door. If you think you'll glide into a table after 6, you're joking. As soon as the restaurant fills up, they won't take reservations for the same night. Also, it's really uncomfortable waiting as there really isn't space for more than about 6 people to wait. There are also togo orders coming in and out. But the PAD THAI is awesome. I like it about a 3/4 heat and it usually is spot on. If you ask for the pepper condiment caddy, the added pickled peppers are delicious. The rest of fam likes the Tuna Bowl. NOT the SPICY TUNA BOWL. It's a deconstructed tuna roll nicely arranged in a bowl. They rave for it.More
