Average at best. Tasted as if it had been sitting around for awhile. Not very fresh tasting. Place is nor the easiest to find. Nice local touch but has some work to do on the taste of the food.

Our meal left us satisfied and belly's stuffed with good BBQ. The restaurant was a very short drive from our hotel The Brentwood Suites. We shared the 3 meat smokehouse combo that comes with 2 sides. It was all really good and a great way to try a little bit of your favorite type of BBQ meats. The beans and... More

Some coworkers and I decided to try a new BBQ place a month in and around Nashville - this is our second stop. I had the pulled pork platter with turnip greens, fried okra, and texas toast. The BBQ at this restaurant is Texas Style, which is not my favorite. The food was good but not great. Waitress was attentive... More

A large group of us arrived about a half hour before they closed. We were concerned they would not take us in. The hostess put our minds to ease right away. Many in our group did not speak English but the server was very patient and took her time helping with the orders. The kitchen staff stayed on and took... More

Stopped here to have some good BBQ on our way back from Alabama to Illinois. Seen good reviews about this place. Food was pretty good....ribs were excellent! Our waitress was one of the worst we've ever had though! I think she really meant well, but definitely not friendly and should not be in customer service! Unfortunately we will never be... More

I've eaten here half a dozen times over the last couple years. The last two times it was a disappointment. The service has gone downhill and the food just isn't as good. They no longer offer chips and BBQ salsa when you sit down and you don't see the server after they take your order. I usually order the brisket... More

Conversation was impossible due to noise, food was poor at best, and the beer was warm. Couldn't wait to get out of there. We went to another restaurant for desert to get rid of the bad taste of the food and place.

I have never been to Nashville, never stayed in Brentwood until we arrived here on 7/30/16. After a travel day that started at 3am with no breakfast or lunch, and with tickets for the Grand Ole Opry in a couple of hours, I googled "Where to eat in Brentwood." A list of the "Ten Best Places" came up and Judge... More

THE BEST BBQ EAST OF TEXAS When you come to Judge Bean's, we want you to feel at home. We want to you to get good, home-cooked food straight off the pit, side dishes that will make your mouth water and and an experience that is unique to our place. That's a tall order, but it's a promise we do our best to make good on every day we open the doors. At Judge Bean's, a lot of folks say we have our own vibe. And that is true. We're not your typical BBQ joint. We're better than that.
