So, To say disappointed is an understatement.😔 I havnt been in many years. The food was just straight out of the freezer to the Fryer. The food was mediocre at best. I expected better quality and choices for my bill to be almost $100 for...4 people.More

30 minute drive from Memphis. I’d say it was worth the drive. Buffet was stocked and it wasn’t long before they replenished the items once they were gone. Clean place, Service was very good. Food was good, catfish was my fave and the apple cobbler.

Went there with a group of Car Friends. There were 15 of us. We made reservations & our table was ready when we got there. They have all you can eat buffet or you can order off of a menu. They have whole Catfish, Catfish fillet,...fried oysters, fried Shrimp & peal & eat Shrimp & other fixings & deserts. The food & service was excellent. They are only open 5 to 9 Thur & Fri & 4 to 9 on Sat. The building is decorated with flags, signs & shelves with all kinds of old toys & what nots. A beam down center of building is lined with several hundred hats. Really enjoyed the food & the way the place is decorated.More

Although we live in Memphis, we had never tried Braden Station. We heard a lot about it though, mostly positive comments so we decided to try it. It is located in Braden, Tennessee on Hwy. 59 near Hwy. 70, about a 40-minute drive from Memphis....The restaurant is only open Thursday, Friday and Saturdays for dinner. The atmosphere is of an old general store - lots of interesting, old nostalgic items to see. If you like seafood, there's a large seafood buffet that includes catfish, shrimp and oysters. It also includes chicken tenders, southern vegetables, salad, hushpuppies and cobblers. All you can eat for $18.99. If your appetite is not that big, there are many other items on the menu to choose from. The country fried steak with southern white gravy was delicious. My chicken tender dinner had enough food for 2 and it was delicious. Service was great. Easy to get refills and whatever else you needed. I will recommend to others. Well worth the travel time from Memphis. Not too far off Interstate 40 either.More

The old general store atmosphere is sweet and the service is good. The buffet included catfish, fired oysters and shrimp, boiled shrimp, hush puppies, greens, beans and other foods for a reasonable price. Included desert. The food is just okay and bland in my opinion...and could use Zatarains seasoning for the fried stuff and Zatarains boil for the boiled shrimp. If in the area, I would suggest trying for yourself.More

We heard about Braden Station a few years ago and had been wanting to try it. Its located in a neat old general store building constructed in the late 1800's and is located about an hour east of Memphis. Note that they are only open...on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and they are only open for dinner. The have a menu that basically features everything they offer on the buffet at single plate prices plus a few other items like sandwiches. Honestly, by the time you add side dishes and dessert if wanted, its probably a better deal to get the buffet if that suits your tastes. They have numerous fried seafood items, catfish, boiled shrimp, about six to eight vegetables, rolls, hush puppies, cole slaw, etc. available on the buffet plus a couple of desserts and soft serve ice cream. The food itself was pretty good. Some items were better than others and the catfish was particularly good. Service was fine; they kept beverages filled and dirty plates were promptly removed from the table. Its definitely worth the drive from the Memphis area and makes a nice little trip to see the old store and enjoy a meal.More

Saw this restaurant while watching Tennessee Crossroads. It was a 40 minute drive from home in Memphis and was very easy to find. We took advice of others online and got there earlier than we would normally eat on a Saturday night since the place...fills up fast. We got there at about 5:00 and there were plenty of open tables. But by the time we were ready to go, there were people waiting for tables. Buffet is the way to go here at 19.00. That includes peel-n-eat shrimp along with whole fried catfish, catfish filets, fried shrimp and oysters as well as chicken tenders and stuffed crab and clam strips. The sides were good and of course hushpuppies and then desserts on the buffet to top it off. Fried is the theme here, if you haven't guessed. But, it has to be! My favorites were the catfish and oysters. Some of the best oysters anywhere too! This is not your four star joint. The building is historic and the atmosphere is plain rural. But, the food is what it's all about.More

Ca2Rovers returned to West TN for visit and family took us to the local favorite Braden Station. A large restored General Store with fun memories of toys and farm equipment lining the shelves. The focus, though, is the wonderful seafood buffet filled with our favorites...of fried catfish, shrimp, clams, hush puppies, okra, cole slaw. You can also order from menu, but buffet is probably faster. It was all yummy and and a nice experienceMore

We watch TN Crossroads and they did a segment on this place. We were there in less than 2 hours of watching the show. It was a Saturday night and we love seafood and buffets. The drive was nice and enjoyed seeing the cotton fields...in bloom. We had not eaten all day ans were ready for a bounty of seafood. So far , so good. I really don't want to be too hard on this place. It's owned by a very nice family and Braden Station is probably the only reason to visit this town. Seafood is not quite what you get. Imitation crab salad and most items are food service. The tartar sauce is the strangest thing. Oily and sweet. They are very frugal about putting out the fried oysters. And when they do arrive, you better be first in line. The two desserts were outstanding. I would like to go back and just get all you can eat Choc Cobbler. That cobbler was insanely good. Hence the three stars. The buffet gets attended to very well and your servers will be there when you need them. Go expecting a fun side trip, but nothing different than you can get locally.More
