Great staff. Foot was excellent for breakfast. Great sound track in walkable downtown neighborhood. Fifties diner car ambiance.

Our four top was seated after a minor wait during the lunch rush. The booth was cramped but once seated it was comfortable. We had two breakfast meals, a cheeseburger and a cripy chicken salad. Coffee was good and service was on time even though...they were packed. The eggs were cooked exactly as ordered and the pork link sausage was excellent. The salad was typical and the cheeseburger was over cooked and not very good.More
Surprise! This isn’t usual diner food. We had chicken and waffles, chicken fried steak and milkshakes….sounds like a diner but doesn’t taste like one. Pecan butter, sausage gravy to die for…we put it on everything….enjoy!
We ate here at the recommendation of a friend who previously lived in Sioux Falls and it was a GREAT choice for breakfast. Many options, fair prices, and super friendly, fast, attentive service. My husband had the corned beef hash, I had the 2+2+2 and...neither of us left hungry. If you're looking for a fun, family friendly breakfast place in Sioux Falls, check out Phillips Ave Diner!More
We stopped here on our out west trip and not only was the food great, the service was excellent and we enjoyed eating outside. Our server was very friendly and helpful on local shops to visit.
This diner is a hidden gem! Stopped by on way through and so glad we did! Had the banana bread French toast… HEAVEN!! Food was amazing, service great and such a cute diner! Will come here every time we are in town! ❤️
We’ve been twice since our babies have been in the NICU in town. Both times were excellent. Service was great. Food was fantastic. We’ve now tried the French toast, chicken and waffles, poutine, two different sandwiches, and shakes. So yummy. We will be back very...soon. Can’t wait to come in the morning for the full breakfast menu.More
Stopped here for lunch when passing through the area. A really friendly place with excellent food. Busy, but still great service. I had the jambalaya...terrific flavour. My wife had the reuben sandwich & loved it as well. A must visit.
Thank you for the wonderful JAMBALAYA! I loved the downtown the amazing taste of the JAMBALAYA. I love the yummy feel of the South Dakota Dinner that I eat for Lunch. I loved the Scenery in the neighborhood and I enjoyed the sculptor walk. I...also really enjoyed the hospitality in this region. I really enjoyed the bed and breakfasts. I would recommend shopping online first and especially on the new modern day invention of an App. Apps can be found on cell phones, computers, watches, and tablets. I really enjoyed how this restaurant is so near by to some of the Big Four Banks. There is a lot of great food on the menu I enjoy coming here a lot I would love to come here and eat a lot of meals. I really enjoy the time I spent in this Neighborhood and this meal is superb. Coming from a lot of education and work with a lot of different companies I would say that this era of the world works really hard and is always clean. I enjoy seeing a lot of the great locations here. Wages are very splendid here also. I am recruited by a lot of job recruiter in this area of the world often. South Dakota is a very lovely place. Covid 19 is quite low in this area of the world and people are able to live a very safe life. The Food quality at this restaurant is wonderful and I do not think the risk of catching covid is around here. I mostly run into the same people here also. I have not seen a lot of crime. The police station is very close by and the city is very safe. I have seen here two really big hospitals that keep the elderly and disabled happy. Sioux Falls is a great place to live and Phillips Avenue Diner is a great tourist destination that I would Definitely check out while you are in this city.More
This is a tiny dinner, but really good food. I had jumbilaya and my daughter had a patty melt. Known for great malts and shakes. Highly recommend.
This diner is definitely a staple in Sioux Falls. It has a retro diner vibe to it. There's a lot of seating and the staff is friendly and fast. In fact, I asked my wife if she noticed how friendly the staff always is. We...always go for breakfast. Their portions are large and incredibly delicious. Well priced too! My wife always got a shake while she was there and they might have some of the best shakes ever. Their s'mores had actual cooked marshmallows on top.More
Small and old style. Very nostalgic like a streamliner diner from days gone by. Parking can be a bit tough, however there is a small public parking lot on 10th right behind Phillps Ave. The lot connects right to this little gem. Menu is a...bit small and limited, after all its based on the old style diners of the 50's. The specialty shakes and worth the visit. This is a local favorite. After diner enjoy the scultputer walk on Philips. This is a MUST eat here stop.More
This was our first visit to the diner. I had read reviews about it, and put it on my Sioux Falls bucket list. When I drove by the place last year, you couldn't get near it (busy). This year I parked right in front, and...got right in! We arrived mid-morning, so they were only serving breakfast. The food and service were excellent! Everyone we encountered was very friendly. The place is a bit pricey, but we will definitely return! (By the way, we requested a booth, and found that it was pretty hard to get out of due to the leg holding up the tabletop. If you're a bit feeble like us, you may want a table or sit at the counter.)More
Service was great, waiter was very friendly and attentive. Food was fabulous-nice variety and everything was delicious.
My husband and I both really enjoyed our breakfast. Everything was prepared just to our liking, there was plenty of food, and it was served quickly. Our server was very friendly, and we enjoyed talking with him about the local area. One caution - if...you like strong, dark roast coffee, bring your own. The restaurant has typical not-very-strong diner coffee.More
