We were surprised to learn that very few restaurants in Rapid City are open on Sundays. I'm not sure why this is, but it greatly limited our selection. We ended up eating at Firehouse Brewing. If you're looking to get a beer this might be...More

We were in the middle of the City of Presidents Walking tour when we stopped at the Firehouse Brewing Co for lunch. We shared a delicious bacon cheeseburger and beard pudding for dessert. It was perfect for two people to share and not be too...More

The only good thing about our visit was the service. Our waitress was lovely, prompt and attentive. Unfortunately the food was extremely disappointing. My mom and I both ordered salads with a cup of the Gorgonzola Ale soup. The soup was lukewarm and tasted strongly...More

We ate tasty and filling sandwiches. Tried in-house brewed ale after sampling two beers. Service was very good. Bonus was the Firehouse Winery next door where we sampled and purchased 2 bottles of Firehouse labeled wine. A great experience.

We had a lovely lunch at Firehouse. Enjoyed a flight of craft beers coupled with some local cuisine. There were six in our party and we all had different lunches.

This restaurant is a stop for tour buses. As a result, it can get very busy with the service suffering as a result. My pork BBQ was swimming in grease that barked back at me the rest of the afternoon. I think I would stick...More

Great selection of beer! Service was quick. When I asked if I could keep the coaster, the waiter went and got a clean one. Food was good.

I was a little nervous about going here after reading some recent negative reviews, but it was the most convenient for us, so my husband and I gave it a try. We really liked the old firehouse and all of the pictures and equipment... certainly...More

Enjoyed a wonderful pulled Chicken Sandwich and baked bean dish right in downtown Rapid City. Walking around town on a cool and rainy fall day; lots of local eateries to choose from, some closed but the Firehouse Brewing Co. was alive and kicking. Glad we...More

There are some public lots that are free in the evenings and on weekends. Rapid City's website had some maps about parking downtown.

The prices are about what you would expect at any craft brewery. No cheap stuff, but the prices are fair. Yes they also have non-alcoholic drinks and wine.

"The Firehouse," as it is called by locals, is one of the city's most unique and interesting landmarks. -Housed within the original Rapid City firehouse, a structure built of four layer brick in 1915, the building is listed on the National Historic Register. We offer a full service restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor dining. Experience a vibrant atmosphere with live entertainment by local musicians in addition to live theatre most Friday and Saturday evenings (view our website for a list of upcoming events). Of course, the Main attraction at the Firehouse is our uniquely flavored, hand crafted beers along with a menu of the Midwest's favorite dishes. With culinary selections ranging from salads and BBQ to buffalo and gumbo, there is something for everyone at the Firehouse Brewing Company.
