Our hotel clerk recommended this restaurant. It is located in the center of the old historic district. We had a short wait until we were called to our table. Trouble was the table was on the second floor and had many steep steps to get to the top. Service was ok. We both ordered a 1/2 rack of baby back... More

Stopped in for a drink after having a meal at Murphy. Didn't really enjoy it. The place was packed and the barmen were rushed off their feet so no time to pass the time of day, which is a shame. Only stayed for one drink and didn't fancy going back to have a meal another night.

Stopped in for a drink, the decor was fun and welcoming. My family are big firefighter fans so we liked the homage. We looked over the menu but it was not as vegetarian and low fat as we would have liked. Nothing wrong with the options - just not our type of food. I liked the Firehouse wine. Our server... More

My hubby and I stopped by after driving the Custer State Park scenic loop for a beer & snack. Beers very good and we had the calamari and it too was very good. Great friendly service, what more could you ask for? I'd most definitely come back! We purchased a couple of beer glasses from the gift shop to take... More

My mum & I visited here for a bite to eat. We had a 15 minute wait for a table, so we sat at the bar for a drink. We were seated in the outside section for our meal. Our server was extremely helpful & pleasant. We had pulled pork & the half chicken - both very tasty, but huge... More

Anyone with a firefighting background will love this place. First, it is in an old Rapid City FD station. Second, it is full of firefighting memorabilia. Third, the food is amazing. My server Nina was excellent and seemed very happy at her job. She made sure I did not want for anything and checked back frequently to make sure I... More

Description
"The Firehouse," as it is called by locals, is one of the city's most unique and interesting landmarks. -Housed within the original Rapid City firehouse, a structure built of four layer brick in 1915, the building is listed on the National Historic Register. We offer a full service restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor dining. Experience a vibrant atmosphere with live entertainment by local musicians in addition to live theatre most Friday and Saturday evenings (view our website for a list of upcoming events). Of course, the Main attraction at the Firehouse is our uniquely flavored, hand crafted beers along with a menu of the Midwest's favorite dishes. With culinary selections ranging from salads and BBQ to buffalo and gumbo, there is something for everyone at the Firehouse Brewing Company.
