This was the first time visiting. I am a volunteer firefighter and it was great to visit an old firehouse and enjoy great food!

Took the family of 5 there for dinner. Ate in the old firehouse area where they would have parked the fire trucks. Atmosphere was better than the food. Felt the food was "ok" at the best and service was lacking. Food was overpriced for the...More

We visited with friends who live in the area and they said this is one of the best in Rapid City. Pulled pork with onion rings, and turkey sandwiches for the healthier side. Our friends had a ruben, which they really enjoyed. Stout beer and...More

This loud, bustling bar and restaurant is a neat historic downtown firehouse. We stopped in for a drink and I found the house-brewed beer to be below average. Staff were friendly, and other inebriated patrons were "over friendly".

Best meal we had the whole Mt. Rushmore trip. The service was amazing...Natalya knew the menu backwards and forwards...and described in detail all the yummy beer we had questions about. The kids enjoyed their food too. Loved the outdoor seating area and the tvs.

This is an obviously popular spot based on advertising in town. We had dinner on the patio and really enjoyed the atmosphere. At around 6-7 people were waiting outside to get in. Food was good and there were plenty of menu options. Beer was decent...More

The prices are about what you would expect at any craft brewery. No cheap stuff, but the prices are fair. Yes they also have non-alcoholic drinks and wine.

We sat on the patio. But I also doubt it as you do walk thru inside restaurant to get to patio.

Description
"The Firehouse," as it is called by locals, is one of the city's most unique and interesting landmarks. -Housed within the original Rapid City firehouse, a structure built of four layer brick in 1915, the building is listed on the National Historic Register. We offer a full service restaurant and bar with indoor and outdoor dining. Experience a vibrant atmosphere with live entertainment by local musicians in addition to live theatre most Friday and Saturday evenings (view our website for a list of upcoming events). Of course, the Main attraction at the Firehouse is our uniquely flavored, hand crafted beers along with a menu of the Midwest's favorite dishes. With culinary selections ranging from salads and BBQ to buffalo and gumbo, there is something for everyone at the Firehouse Brewing Company.
