The food, service and atmosphere was excellent. Fish Tacos were outstanding, generous portions with a zesty sauce. The Trout was tender and cooked perfect. Order the Brussel Sprouts for a unexpected treat. The desserts are homemade on site! Our server was really on top of things.

This place was recommended by our B&B and we never eat at the same place twice on trips, but we did with this place. The food was superb! I don't know who the chef is, but they better work hard to keep him. The first night we had the trout and fish tacos with the peach pie and the second... More

Stopped by on our way back from Deadwood and had a wonderful dinner. We all ordered something different and it was outstanding. They also have fresh baked pies every day and we ended with a slice of blueberry pie - YUM! The server was super friendly, answered many questions and get great suggestions - little pricey, but was great food... More

Whilst we were staying at the Coyote Blues Village B&B Musekamp's was recommended to us as a place to eat. We ate here twice and on both occasions the food and service were just excellent. The dishes range in price from about $4 to $20 a dish. We had the Fish Tacos one evening which were really, really good, along... More

We were staying at the Black Forest Inn Bed & Breakfast and decided to try out the restaurant connected at the B & B. (the breakfasts at the B & B were excellent!). The Musekamp’s Grill & Pub re-opened by the owners of the B & B – Bruce Behrens & Ron Moore during the Memorial week-end. The food was... More

We stayed nearby at the Coyote Blues Village B&B, and the Bistro was recommended as the closest place for dinner. After a day of non-stop travel (and no break for lunch), we were famished and were happy to go somewhere close. Dinner was good. We ordered the potato skins as an appetizer and they were ok but a little dry.... More

This restaurant is not associated with the Inn. They actually rent the terrace space and have nice patio seating with outdoor lights. We were staying across the street and came over for dinner one night, as they stayed open until 9pm. It was a beautiful evening and they had live music, a guitarist playing folk/bluegrass in the background. The wait... More

The ambiance is fantastic. The outdoor venue is excellent (except during rally week in mid-Aug when you cannot hear a thing). Food and wine very very good. We live in the area. It's about a 20 minute drive from Rapid City but worth it. Hubby's favorite - the Freshwater King Shrimp - they are like mini-lobsters. I loved the Baked... More

We arrived late in hill city, and ended up being the only customers at the bistro (we didn't want to drive into Hill City, so we found this place since it was close). Still, the wait staff was great, and the food was delicious. We had bison burgers and the fancy mac and cheese. I would definitely recommend.

Description
The Black Forest Inn has a restaurant on the site. I think the restaurant needs to have it's own review site, as anyone can eat here, not just Inn guests.
