We love Murphy's. The mac and cheese with bacon was amazing, the Reuben was delicious, and those sweet potato fries are to die for! And the best part is Empyrean Ales Third Stone is back on tap! Had a combination of waiters and waitresses this evening but they all worked well together and the service was seamless. We were told the... More

Located across the road from our hotel we thought we would have dinner at Murphy's. This was a great choice. We ordered a shepherds pie and the scallop risotto. Both meals were awesome , very tasty and quite large. The beer selection was very good and we tried one or two ! Service was good and the atmosphere although busy... More

Murphy's happened to be across the street from our hotel. The menu was varied with sandwiches and entrees. Their specials were really good. The atmosphere was very comfortable with a very nice patio. Good place to eat.

The Shepherd's Pie was excellent. Made the traditional way with lamb, it wasn't gamey tasting at all. Plenty of root vegetable with real mashed potatoes all with a rich gravy. Also, the most original carrot cake I have ever had.

Decided to end our visit to Rapid City and surrounding area at Murphy's Pub and Grill. We arrived back in Rapid City after visiting the Wind Cave National Park so headed to Murphy's Pub before returning to our hotel. It was Friday at 5 PM so not surprised it was packed. We ordered the bison meatloaf and were quite pleased.... More

A unique and pleasant experience. Nice feel, very casual yet well appointed with furnishings, Irish-themed but a nice western touch with the fire pits. Good food, reasonably priced. Our young waiter had some problems with his hand-held ordering device, but the glitches were minor. Parking isn't the best, had to park on the street, but overall good and well-worth returning.

We were recommended by a local to go here for the speak easy. We had a drink upstairs first. The bar is big and spacious, the outdoor patio area is very relaxed and spacious too! The speak easy downstairs was very, very neat! I believe it's only open certain nights, but try to experience it. Every drink is handmade and... More

I came here for dinner while in Rapid City for work. I asked my coworkers for suggestions for places to eat, and Murphy's was mentioned several times. I'm glad I took everyone's advice. Service was great, and the food was very good! They also have a large selection of craft beers on tap, including a lot of local beers. It's... More
