trouble is I live 1,300 miles away!! We were looking for a late breakfast after visiting Mount Rushmore. Luckily Tally's serves breakfast until 2 and we got there at 1:20. My wife and I split a custom French omelette adding mushrooms, sausage, onions, spinach with cheddar jack cheese. Fantastic!! We added the blueberry pancakes which were fluffy and full of berries.... We had breakfast here several times during our stay in Rapid City. The food is very good and service is fast. The bacon is excellent as is the oatmeal, and the fruit is very fresh. The hash browns are mostly white, however, but the omelets are good, as are the other egg dishes. The menu is varied and innovative.

Had a tasty and enjoyable Sunday brunch at Tally's. They were perfectly willing to work around my low carb diet. Coffee was excellent. Points that kept this from the Excellent category were an undercooked egg in my wife's egg cup and the noise level. I'm a bit hearing challenged and it was hard to converse. Even so, we went back... Everything from the waitress to the restaurant to food was beyond the best experience we had while traveling thru south dakota. We are always looking for places to eat off the beaten path. This place was soooooooo worth it.

We tried this restaurant on our latest trip to Rapid City because of the Trip Advisor ratings and because my daughter is gluten intolerant. This restaurant is small and busy but the staff are great. Service was fast and efficient but never made you feel rushed. The food, including the gluten-free options, was excellent. This is the place to go... More

Was busy when we arrived, but we were sat quickly and food was good. Polite staff and a modern atmosphere. Great location downtown.

Right in downtown Rapid City....Tally's has always provided tasty and interesting lunch items. I have eaten here for years and never had a bad meal. My only complaint is that since the remodeling (years ago) it is SO noisy. Good place to eat, but not a quiet and relaxing place. Also has just 1 bathroom stall in the lady's room... More
