I have never had a better breakfast that in this place. It is also very good for lunch. lots of parking (it is in a truck stop) and the place is always busy ---- that should tell you something.

Their buffet is comparable to what Bonanza use to offer; salad, soups, ribs and chicken, bread pudding and cake. Ribs apparently is what the restaurant is noted for.

It was 7:30 on a Saturday night when we entered the restaurant. We got seated quickly and our waiter took our order. Meal was to include soup, main course, beverage and desert. Got our drinks quickly. Fifteen minutes later the soup came. Not great tasting. After 45 minutes, our meal was still not to us and we asked the waiter... More

We stayed next door and thought this would be a convenient meal. Two of the three of us enjoyed the food. The hot beef and gravey looked delicious but had a lot of fat in the meat and just didn't taste good. The reason this didn't get a three star was the service. I'll avoid publicly naming our waitress but... More

Typical diner fare, Like I said not fancy just good. Fed five for under $50 and when we said we were parched, Our waitress not only brought us the biggest water glasses ever she also brought a pitcher of water. A small thing to be sure but hard to find service this good.

Nice clean resturaunt and family friendly, we stopped on a long road trip with two burned out small children. After we sat for 20 minutes with no server or drinks I went to the manager. He was super nice and helped us and personally served and took our order. He got our tip that night, after we ate good food... More

Have had several meals there. Great food at a fair price and service has always been good. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinners. Even the deserts have been good. One of my favorites here is the hot beef.

We stopped here for breakfast while on our drive. Our server Kelsey was friendly and service oriented. I did;t want potatoes with my meal and when the bill came we were surprised that she had taken 50 cents off the total for no potatoes. Our food was served hot and the way we ordered it. We would come back if... More

Doing a night drive from S. Dakota back to Illinois. Around midnight my teenage son and I were looking for something more than a fast food place. I turned off I-90 and very close on the left side I thought, let's try this place. Its nothing to compare to an overpriced big city stuffed shirt restaurant. However It got all... More
