It's always nice to find a great family run restaurant. Really good recepies passed down from a previous generation. There is a reason these recepies survive, they are really good time tested treats. This place is one of those special establishment. Food really good, service...More

We had dinner here while in Mitchell. Our waitress, Lisa, was very kind and efficient. My husband had the 5 ounce steak, I had the chicken stir-fry, and our daughter had the fettucinni alfredo (which she said was "fabulous") We all liked the food and...More

Stopped by here on our drive across South Dakota. Had wanted to cruise by the Corn Palace and decided to eat breakfast. About a mile up the road from the Corn Palace. Your typical diner with waitstaff that are friendly and attentive, but not overly...More

We were less than pleased with the quality of our dinners. They tasted as if they were pre- prepared and reheated. Do not order the meatloaf. The staff was not the most cheerful, but it was after 8pm when we arrived.

Went for breakfast and everything was good. Waitress was very attentive and filled our coffee cups periodically. Very clean and can definitely recommend for breakfast.

From the moment we walked into the door, we were greeted asap and seated and waited upon. The food was very good. We got to talk to the owner and he knew where we came from and where we’d been. Nice connection and friendly touch.

We stopped here for dinner after driving for 5 hours from St. Paul, MN. Google suggested this place as one where the locals eat so I figured it was worth a shot. Glad we stopped in. Locally owned place. Loved that it serves breakfast foods...More

Decent food. My personal fav. is the stuffed/loaded potatoes and the ham and bean soup. Service is average for a place like this. Different and somewhat stuck in time atmosphere. Nice to have a lunch with a friend here.
