We ate here while passing through, so this was a one-time visit. That being said, if Fanny Horners was near to us, we'd probably eat here as it seems to offer solid, standard American diner food. Prices are reasonable, and service is friendly and efficient. An average rating means this restaurant delivers good food with a good experience. It is... More

Great caramel rolls and hash browns. Simple good food. They have a few fun toys for kids to play with. I've only had breakfast here but always good.

Good meals at a good price. Nice and quiet and clean. Lots of choices and breakfast anytime of the day. Will go back.

Pancakes were good. Biscuits and gravy and coffee, not so good. Good service and hot food. We won't return, we would choose Perkins over this restaurant.

We visited Fanny Horners on a Sunday morning at about 7 am. Upon arriving, the waitress appeared to resent our presence there. We were seated , and she jabbed at the menu and said that the #4 was on special, then dropped the menus and left. When we ordered, we were unable to hear a question she asked, so we... More

It's a diner like place. They serve most breakfast items all day. The skillet omelette was outstanding. One kid had a burger and the other steak and eggs. Everyone enjoyed their food. The kids shared a cinnamon roll for dessert. It was huge, warm and fresh and they devoured it!

Ate supper here based on the description in the Mitchell tourist guide which particularly mentioned their home-made bean soup. This was indeed the high point of the meal. I had the broasted chicken special which was very tasty. My friend had the breaded shrimp which was frozen and reheated as one would expect for the price. For under $20 for... More

Asked for recommendation of good breakfast while visiting Corn Palace. Decorated with souvenir plates from all over. Friend had pancakes - large and good. I had a breakfast skillet - ham, onion, green pepper omelet on top of hashbrowns, smothered in cheese gravy. Just might be one of the best breakfasts I have ever had!

Tried the lunch Fish Special for $6.99. Was expecting 2-3 pieces 9f fish, but only got 1 small battered fish stick. Was tasty, but cone on one small piece! Also I had an order of mozzarella sticks -- got six with NO marinara sauce or anything and for the outrageous price of $6.99! Observed most of the people eating there... More

If you are wanting fancy food you are in the wrong place. Fanny Horners is a neighborhood establishment where you expect to hear everyone called by name when they walk in the door, and frequently are. The food is served hot and quickly and is always tasty. It's also fun to find the plate of your home state on the... More
